    I purchased a condo after years of sacrifice; during the last walk through a number of items needed to be fixed. It has been 3 months since closing and items from the list have not been fixed as of yet (inside doors and floorboards). Based on conversations with company employees my items can only be fixed Monday to Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. I work during those hours! They are unwilling, a big company, to come and fix items in my unit (that should had been fixed 3 months ago), when it is convenient for me, an individual. The company has told me that the contractor only works 9am-3pm. Dentists, lawyers, doctors, post-office, office workers, banks, etc. have late nights, weekend hrs. and a big majority work at least till 5 pm, yet their contractor does not. BTW they are fixing the unit next to mine and they have people on Saturdays making noise next door. They have people in the building and on my floor working on other units, yet they are unwilling to come fix my items. The company's solution is that I allow access to my unit for the contractor to come in while I am not there (M-F 9am to 3pm). I don't feel comfortable with this solution. I am available at or after 5 pm M-F or Saturday all day when time is arranged before hand.
