    I have been doing business with My essentials me, which covered protection on my hearing aids and supplied batteries monthly. I contacted them over two months ago so my account could be reinstated because I had alot of health issues and was trying to make ends meet. That being said, the customer service rep got a Supervisor involved, who refused to reinstate my insurance coverage on the grounds that I only had a few months left on that policy. I am a Senior with disabilities and I have an issue with my one hearing aid, but this Supervisor did not care. They instead charged me for hearing aids I Did Not receive. I had to purchase them elsewhere. I have to make an appt with ******* *** who sold me my hearing aids to get them repaired. This is totally wrong to do this to a Senior at the poverty level. I want my account reinstated as I originally requested. I will contact ******* *** and tell them how I was treated by My essentials me. If My essentials me refuses to correct this, I will have to file a complaint with the Attorney General of Illinois.

    To Whom It May Concern: The customer was contacted on 3/17/25 by ******* ***, the hearing aid provider, and an appointment was scheduled at that location for 3/25/25 to inspect the hearing aid. My Essentials provides insurance and extended warranties on the aids, but we do not manufacture, sell or service any hearing devices. We do understand that appointments may not always be convenient but are a necessary step in the repair claim process. My Essentials has informed ******* *** that, assuming the aid is repairable and not damaged beyond repair, the aid will be serviced at no charge to the customer. My Essentials has also sent replacement batteries to the ******* *** office for the shipments that the customer states she had not received. Customer has been made aware that her current set of hearing aids is no longer eligible for an extended warranty, due to the age of the aids, and cannot be covered beyond this initial claim.  If you require any additional information, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

    My father had a warranty on a hearing aid purchased from Miracle Ear Naperville Illinois. I contacted my essentials to order a replacement for his lost hearing aid. Service was good. They informed me he could not renew his policy.
    This was November 2023.
    My father passed away. I accessed his bank account statements for tax purposes in March 2024 and discovered the warranty had been renewed. I called - service was again pleasant - and was told a refund would be issued in 3-5 business days. A week and a half later I called and was told the refund was in progress for the unused period. (Prorated). I became irritated and expressed my desire for a full refund. She said she would verify the timeline and call back. I complained that this was my third call to them and I was misinformed each previous call. I received no call back yesterday.

    I talked to My Essentials customer service before Jan 31st and in the first week of February. They provide service for customers of ******* *** for hearing aid repair and provide batteries monthly for subscribers, which I am. I am a senior citizen and I am paid to date with this company,. They have Not sent me hearing aid batteries for the last two months. I told ******* *** about this. They took my money, but have not provided the hearing aid batteries I needed and I have been out of them. Since I pay this warranty service every month, they are responsible to make sure I receive\ what I pay for in a timely manner, but they have not.

In looking at your particular issue we were surprised by your complaint as the two months (December 2022 and January 2023) that you didn’t receive batteries was due to your payment being declined and not being received. We did however receive payment on February 3rd after you updated your payment in the *********** *** ****
    ******** . Batteries were shipped out to you at that time. I am following up to see if you had received those batteries as well as thank you for being a continued and valued customer. Your hearing health is important to us and we want to keep you protected against costly repairs now and in the future. In good faith I have requested an extra pack of batteries be shipped to you to keep you a head of your normal monthly delivery.
