      Vendor provided a free estimate for bamboo removal. Made a $1000 deposit to hold price on the estimate. The project can not go forward and notified the vendor within 24 hours and requested the return of our deposit. 8/19 via email, again on 8/29 with phone messages left in between to make sure that the email was received. No responses. Another email request 9/1 and another on 9/5. and several phone calls to their voicemail No response or acknowledgement of receipt. No responses.

      We are sorry to now learn that you are unable at this time to move forward with your intended project. You were notified by phone 9/7/22 that we were previously closed for vacation plus the extended labor day weekend holiday at the time and dates you previously had either emailed or phone called our office.

      As noted in our phone conversation 9/7/22 your refund shall be issued to you sent via US mail on or about 9/12/22. Please keep us in mind for your future projects.  Sincerely, ** *********

      It is unfortunate that you now somehow either misconstrue or otherwise erroneously believe that a free estimate is one and the same as a signed contract that now bares your signature agreeing to purchase where a $1000 deposit check was given. Once you provided us your signature on your contract agreeing to purchase and in addition gave us a good ************************* money deposit $1000, upon your instruction saying so I went ahead and took necessary steps to not only place your order to proceed into motion, on your behalf I incurred direct out of pocket administrative costs solely attributable to your job cost which now equally amounts to the $300 that I am not refunding. I trust this should clear up any misconceptions you may hold regarding your refund. Should you have any further comments or additional questions or comment please feel free to call me directly over the phone. I consider this case closed and no longer shall I respond to nor reply any further using this forum

      [Your Answer Her What expenses? You were on an extended vacation according to your response. Is your reputation worth $300?  Trust is like virginity. Once lost. it is impossible to recover.  You won't respond? Great way to do business.
