I reached out to interstate in attempt to get a last minute quote for inspecting sprinkler heads in a residential sprinkler system of a townhouse I was about to close on. *he company was able to accommodate my request and come out for a quote. I was quoted over $3000 to replace multiple sprinkler heads throughout the unit and perform an annual inspection. After closing on the townhouse, I scheduled the work to be completed 2/13/25. *he crew was in and out in less than three hours. On 2/15/25, we walked into the house to see the drywall around the around the sprinklers wet and drops of water around the sprinkler heads. I immediately called the company (My contact ******) to let them know the sprinklers they just replaced were leaking. ****** told me to have the construction crew who was there working on the house open the drywall to check the leak. We sent him a video and he stated it appeared to be a plumbing leak not a sprinkler leak. I told him Id be more comfortable if he came out to check the work that was just done and he told me I would be charged time and a half due to it being a weekend if it was not in fact a sprinkler leak. Based on ****** recommendation, we had a plumber look at the leak who said it was a sprinkler leak coming from the * connector. I immediately called ****** who then berated me for having a plumber look at the leak. Being 10 months pregnant and not a plumber nor a sprinkler professional, I was caught in the middle of a very unfortunate situation. All I could understand was the fact that the brand new sprinklers caused a leak and damaged my ceiling that had just been painted. In looking back at pictures from the same day interstate completed the job, there is evidence of damage to the drywall around the sprinklers just an hour after the job was done. Its evident interstate caused the damage to my house and then refused to take accountability and left me, the pregnant customer holding the bag.
