I ordered a ****** laptop from the seller e@world on Amazon listing this company as the parnt company. On arrival the ****** laptop looked good, the screen resolution was poor, but the upgrades to the other areas (as listed on Amazon) made it negligible. It did not arrive in a sealed manufacture box as the return policy stated it would but with upgrades that seemed reasonable. After having the product 31 days I opened ******* was difficult to open & I noticed the bottom right corner of the casing around the screen was pulling toward the keyboard. I took it to an authorized microsoft repair center & ****** auth dealer. The repair tech said the hinge screws were stripped, there was no evidence of damage to the outside of the laptop or the box it came in, so the tech stated it was caused by the aftermarket screen they installed being done incorrectly. Upon looking over the rest of the device she noticed the battery sensor was faulty, this is a fatal error and cannot be repaired. I contacted e@world for a refund and included all the documentation from the repair tech. They refunded the product but deducted 80% for a "restocking fee" stating it was amazon policy. The return policy states damage by the buyer and not damage due to defective upgrades by the seller. I have disputed the refund amount providing more documentation and keep getting the same response(almost word for word). They refuse to uphold their policy are refund the rest of my money (less my expense to return it, as it's only fair I pay those costs and I did), nor do they dispute the fact they damaged the product. This company appears to be scamming people out of their money with substandard products they know will fail after the stated return period,
