    I agree with those who paid a lot of money for the "best" hearing aids available only to be very disappointed. At first, the hearing aids seemed to pick up sound I was missing but just needed some tweaking, so I returned to the audiologist. After 6 visits, mulitple "tweaks", guidance on how to use the Widex app to help, listening videos, ear cleanings, I was beginning to question my purchase. Then, within a year and a half from purchase, both receivers failed within a two week period and were replaced.
    During the time the hearing aids were sent for repair, I didn't have the Widex hearing aids, I went back to my seven year old Oticons. My wife commented I was hearing better. I noticed I was hearing better, too. After my Widex hearing aids were returned, I tried them again. The "tweaking" began all over; they were much too loud and it wasn't because I "had to get used to hearing noise I hadn't heard". They were just too loud in all sound levels.
    When I contacted the Widex Help Line, I commented about my better luck with the Oticons. The agent's helpful comment was, "We are all free to make the best choice for our situation." After $6000+, multiple attempts to improve my "best hearing aids" and now staying with my old hearing aids, I can not recommend Widex to anyone. Thank you.

    My Widex hearing aids (Evoke330 RB2D) do not work. The warranty replaced two sets and the third set will cost $70.00 each ear. My audiologist told me Widex doesn't perform miracles. I wrote a scathing letter to Widex (audiologist suggested that I don't) back in July and never heard back from them. I keep them clean and don't wear them in bed or in the shower. Now they sit in my medicine cabinet, and I hear nothing! I paid over $2,000 for this junk. Don't waste your money!
