    I had Joe and his team come to my house as I had a window that appeared the frame was rotted out.

    The siding of the house was removed other items and we found that there was water damage (as I had guessed on the wall. They removed the damaged parts and rebuild the wall with 2x4s, got new insulation and used the other boards that were there to put it back together. We discovered the window was actually a top section of a door that was cut and used. They built a new box around it so that it would work effectively. As they were trying to put the siding back on, they were cutting pieces off (I have still have them in a bucket in the garage because they didn't pick up very well including nails, etc) to make it fit back in.

    I started to have water leaking into my house at the floor level under the window. I shared this with Joe and he came and "fixed" it with putting in additional flashing. Then it started to leak on the top of the window. I contacted Joe and told him I had an idea to fix, but if it didn't work, would he come and fix it. He told me he would put a new window in at my cost, but he would do the rest for free. It worked initially, but leaked again. I contacted Joe and he wouldn't respond.

    I found him on **. He told me I needed the window replaced. I initially wanted him to come and put the new window (I haven't bought yet) in at cost, but the lack of communication as well as he is not willing to do so now.

    I do not disagree that he did work. However, after his work, the problem was not fixed, and actually made worse and I need to make sure my house on the inside doesn't get water damage now (e.g. wood floors, molding, etc). I do not want him to fix it now, as I feel our relationship is fractured, but I do want money back to fix the problem that was either never fixed by him, and probably made worse by him and his team.
