    I realize from my conversation with the installer today that I am “out of luck” with this job; however, to me this is not the workmanship I would expect from the premium that was charged on an $85 vent. My expectation would be a properly sized vent to be installed — not present an option to leave my bathroom with a crooked vent install with a 1” perimeter needing to be patched. While the indemnification clause in their contract may prevent me from rebutting this financially, it is unfortunate that this is what NICHOLS felt comfortable leaving as a statement of work. I would have rather paid an up charge for the technician to get a larger vent at a local ****’s or **** ***** than create another bill to correct and paint my ceiling.

    Had a 200 amp electrical service upgrade done. The new box is installed and the wiring is extremely neat. In my career, I have been in several data centers. The wiring done for the panel box is that level. Nichols was priced pretty reasonable. I had a few quotes they were in the middle. I also had them add some ceiling fans and boxes. I didn't have boxes there before so it was all new. They had to make cuts in the drywall, but it was very minimal. I expected there to be more holes to be honest. So they were really careful to keep the drywall cuts to a minimum. Both guys were very professional. They cleaned up after themselves and asked questions on certain things. It was a great experience.
