Horrible business that doesn’t know how to take a loss when we did nothing wrong. We found a loan with better terms elsewhere and Dominick ******** of shield funding told the lender not to move forward with us.Shield Funding

Unfortunately the BBB website does not have good control of reviews so it is a dumping ground for bad or fake reviews that are unworkable so we cannot manage reviews in this platform, just responding only. There are a thousand reviews on the internet in managed platforms for you to get to know our service for two decades.Review fromAmy G

Started out with a great experience talking to Lisa on the phone but once her colleague Brent ******** got involved corresponding with me via email, I immediately decided this company was not who I wanted to do business with. We got approval for a loan and took a day to discuss the offer with my partner and apparently that was too long of a wait. The email itself actually looked like an add, not like someone took the time to personally write it so I didn't think twice about not replaying to it directly. Brent was completely unprofessional with his follow up email the next day, belittling our business ethics because we didn't reply to him in one day? No where in the email did it say to reply ASAP. "If you don't take the funds we know then you're not serious about the business and it's future." "You can't even return an email, perhaps this is why your credit is the way it is." Right then and there, all correspondence got blocked. I could have responded but why bother? What kind of reputable company would say that to someone? Sending sarcastic statements, writing an email in an unprofessional text message type format, even sending a *** ***** GIF and expect us to go with your company?? I am proud to say that we hold our company to a higher standard then they do and went with another company for a smaller loan amount but with a much better bedside manner. I understand you are in a jam but trust me, there are other options out there then selling your soul to this company.Shield Funding

This customer went and copy/pasted this review all over the internet and it could have all been avoided if they just communicated in a timely manner. We understand everybody is busy, but it can be quite frustrating when clients are unresponsive after a lot of hard work is put in on their behalf at no cost. Many of you know what that feels like. However, everyday we continue to learn how to better deal with frustrating situations, but ultimately it is our fault that we did not get you past the finish line with an awesome experience and we will continue to work to do better.Review fromJeremy T

Well I did not inquire with this company. I had inquired with another that I thought was a lender which indeed turned out to be yet another lead generator, but they didn’t make it passed hello, because I got 3 calls from two different numbers with texts following each calls and saying the same company, and of course however many emails. One phone call one text message all it takes act like a bunch of damn children but because they want to act like children, I’d didn’t even tell them hello I told him to F off and to delete me out of their system therefore they contact me again then it is lawsuit worthy at that point I’m already Dealing with two other companies that won’t leave me alone that I did not actually inquire in which again I did not inquire with this company, but per the company I did inquire with apparently I’m sure it’s in their small print somewhere if you have the choice I wouldn’t even bother with this company But more than likely you’re not gonna have the choice but they’re not even a lender anyway so use direct lenders meaning their website should say MMLS on it somewhere and have a number next to it that’s how you know if it’s a real lender. Otherwise stay away from anybody that does not have an NMLS number because they are not a lender and they’re just collecting your data or collecting your data to sell leads or scam. But I just like I said, replied one time in a text message explaining how ridiculous it was, and to not ever call me again just passed this. It’s a legal matter if they did so choose to further contact me and the person Nick apparently also having an iPhone just Marked the text with a ha ha emoji so clearly our children, where I’m going to be doing $15 million transactions would say completed this little 75K transaction first to see how it goes, like I always do because when you start engaging in 7+ figures ballgame changes a little bit and definitely do not want to be dealing with children, in those kind of deals ergo, big fail youShield Funding

We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience online but this is a result of you going to a lead generator and not just going to a Direct Lender like Shield Funding. We hear this all the time. Inputting your info which led to you receiving dozens of calls and emails and then you become completely angry with every interaction and you are not even sure which companies you are working with. We would recommend avoiding lead generators if you want a good lending experience.Review fromCameron K

I recently engaged with Shield Funding for financial assistance, seeking their reputed services to support my business endeavors. While their initial interaction showcased professionalism and a promise of tailored solutions, I must express my disappointment with their disregard for my explicit requests regarding communication preferences.Despite clearly communicating my desire to be placed on their "do not call" list, not once, but twice, and following up with a text message confirming my request, I found myself bombarded with unsolicited emails, calls, and texts from Shield Funding. This persistent outreach, contrary to my expressed preferences, reflects poorly on their commitment to customer satisfaction and respect for boundaries. Moreover, despite my attempts to halt the communication by texting "stop," I continued to receive unwanted correspondence. This failure to honor opt-out requests not only disregards regulatory compliance but also highlights a lack of attention to detail and customer-centric approach. As a consumer, I value transparency, respect, and adherence to preferences. Unfortunately, Shield Funding's behavior in this regard falls short of expectations. Such disregard for customer preferences undermines trust and casts doubt on the integrity of their services.Moving forward, I have enlisted the assistance of legal counsel to address this matter formally. It is regrettable that what began as a promising business interaction has been marred by this concerning pattern of communication. I hope that Shield Funding takes this feedback seriously and implements necessary measures to improve their customer communication practices. In conclusion, while Shield Funding may boast commendable financial solutions, their handling of customer communication preferences leaves much to be desired. Proceed with caution, ensuring clear boundaries and expectations are established from the onset to avoid potential frustration and disappointment.Shield Funding

Thank you for your feedback. When somebody submits their information on the internet, the expectation is that there will be some electronic/digital communication. The problem here is that texts and calls were coming from other companies that do not have the systems in place that we have, and then people assume it is a company not being exactly sure. This happens all of the time. You would see hundreds of these reviews if we allowed texts/emails/calls to go out that were not expected. We removed this client from texting very shortly after the request, possibly 1-2 days, and the most this client could have received from Shield Funding is 1-2 texts. We also have an email system in place, and maybe this client got 3 or 4 emails from Shield before the request got to the department. As far as calls to remove, no client has to call this company twice to be removed from our call list, it does not happen, this may be an honest mistake from the client getting bombarded with calls. This is not to say that the client did not end up on a new list somewhere or at a later date but it is a guarantee that we do not call people that request not to be called. We are professional and value a client's privacy, and I am sure that when the client goes through the communication they would see that we are the professional company that behaved that way through the entire process.Review fromVance Y

BAIT AND SWITCH! I worked with a **************. He quoted me 12% annual. We get to the point of funding and he tells me its 3% MONTHLY!. He claims he told me this and I have several emails where he confirmed 12%. Never mentioned 36%.STAY AWAY and don't waste your time. Totally unethical!!Shield Funding

Thank you for the feedback. We always try to get a client the best rates available, but unfortunately some people do not reach that threshold for one reason or another. It is also important to understand that in this very high interest rate environment the cost of money swings significantly every day. That does not mean that we do not offer the product/rate at a given time or under different circumstances. This is the same reason people pay different rates for cars, **********. This customer actually came back after seeing what other companies offered and communicated that they were reconsidering the offer. It is because the client understood that we were ******************, and always get the most competitive rates and terms for our clients, and we are here to clarify any product questions or concerns, and we apologize if anything was unclear in the initial communication.Review fromMichelle R

Sales guy sends me an email with his contact information and company contact information attached, to only receive another email from him again the next day, with a different Direct phone number and now a different physical address for the company! Yeah company website looks like kids built it with cartoon characters as profile pictures and the ones that are actual real pictures off rip look fake and Photoshopped....just do research look at the names and search LinkedIn then ****** lens it you'll see a duplicate picture of someone that lives in a completely different state and works for a different company that clearly didn't attend a high dollar University in ******** like all there profiles say they attended.Shield Funding

Thank you for your feedback. We will try to go over your concerns one by one as we do with all of our clients for almost two decades now. We are sorry that the website pictures were not actual photos, but this page was created several years ago and at the time many tech companies were using that style, we are actually updating the website this year. | Some of our employees have Linkedin profiles, and some do not, it is their choice. | We are very proud to have employees with degrees, especially if they are a member of the Ivy League, if you do some further research you would be able to verify that as the information is public in NY. | As far as emails going out with different numbers, we have multiple offices and many of our employees may use their dedicated office phone, or remote work desk options in some of our larger offices, or cell phone numbers at different times, depending on the time and what location they work out of, but it is not unusual for our employees to communicate with more than one phone number as the priority is that our clients can get to hear from our experts in the moment they require it. | You could have asked to speak to a supervisor and had all of your questions addressed in one minute on the phone, we would have certainly been eager to alleviate your concerns and make sure that you were comfortable before working with us. We want to earn your business. Our A+ rating with the BBB is not easy to maintain, but we have it because we take pride in our trusted name and reputation, and we make sure that we provide the opportunity for clients and even potential clients to share their experience in a public forum. You can also see hundreds of reviews online from verified clients, another public place for people to discuss our company. Again, we are sorry that some signals may have got mixed up as we really did not get too many details from you and there is always the possibility of human or digital errors that are not immediately apparent, but if there is something we can do to address any of your concerns please do not hesitate to call our direct line at ************ and request a call from management.
