A contract for masonry work and a new driveway was signed late March / early April . Total for work was $32,700. and a deposit of $9000 was given. Work was supposed to start the first week of May. By the time the job was actually started, the markings and flags placed by **** were practically gone. Work was then pushed off and pushed off finally starting in June and an additional check of $16,250. was given as all materials were due to be delivered. After our driveway and front walkway were completely dug up, leaving us with no accessible front door entry, we were told that the pavers we selected were discontinued and they had just found that out. I made one phone call and was told that the pavers had actually been phased out around the beginning of 2022. So now we had no driveway, no walkway and no pavers. In traveling around to again find acceptable pavers, we happened on a masonry yard that still had some inventory and let Fine Design know where they could purchase the discontinued pavers for our job. Prior to the paver delivery, we were contacted for an additional $4000. so that the asphalt people could be paid. When the job was eventually finished, it was so unacceptable and so unprofessional. So they did come back to make repairs and only made it more unacceptable. At this point Fine Design has the bulk of what we were supposed to pay them and we are trying to get them to come back to finish the job properly so that our home is not exposed to the elements or various insects. Over a month has now elapsed, and the owner of the company has given us very excuse under the sun - mic up of dates, the weather, illness... Additionally, we had contracted for long, low steps to accommodate a family member who visit in a wheelchair. What we got were short, high steps. The owner offered to redo them but we don't want to start another project with him. We just want the obvious errors corrected to our satisfaction.

We received a complaint from this customer we went to the house to rectify the problem the customer was extremely rude screaming and yelling unreasonable couldnt get a word and couldnt speak to the person at all. Customer accused us of installing a piece of siding on the house said that we removed it and then installed something different not sure exactly what they were referring to then they sent us a picture we went on ****** earth and produced a picture of the house in the exact condition with pictures of the house from 10 years ago with the siding the way it is now they said oh we mustve made a mistake then they accused us of many false accusations are. The customer has woodwork framing around her front door also claims that we damaged it no one damaged anything it was very old to begin with this customer is doing nothing but trying to get some thing for free is completely out of control and very disrespectful we will not be spoken to in that manner by anyone . This is the customer that is out of control unrealistic and very dishonest you can zoom in and supply pictures of a brand new car with minor little problems we went there to make The problems correct but we will not be screamed at and spoken to with such disrespect I said to the customer 15 times we are here to try to help you achieve the goal that you want we are here to rectify whatever changes you want but we will not be screamed at and spoken to in the manner that she did she slam the door in our face and is completely out of control when the customer learns to have some respect I will be more than happy to go back and rectify anything else that needs to be done. She is holding a balance on the job which is fine its OK with me she holds that balance until the job is rectified . if and when we can return we will be more than happy to provided we are not verbally assaulted and spoken to with such disrespect that no one would return especially when we have an outstanding record with no complaints ever anywhere in all our years so I guess youll have to look at the big picture and come to your own conclusion. Once again we will be more than happy to rectify the minor things that they are referring to provided we are spoken to and treated with respect. Our record speaks for itself.

We signed a contract for $67,000 which included a new patio around the pool and walkway. A platform with waterfalls and a fire pit and seating wall with piers. We have had multiple issues where the company didnt show up for work as expected. They stole copper pieces we had in the driveway and damaged one of our expensive fire pits with their machines that was gifted to us from my late sister. The salesman who sold us the job had multiple conflicts with one of the project managers. The project manager told the salesman that we owed them an additional $6k because the salesman didnt measure the backyard properly. The salesman and the manager have been arguing about the square footage and putting my family and I in the middle of this. They are almost finished with the job and asking for the final payment. The salesman said he doesnt work for the company any longer but still keeps coming around on the job and asking for payment. We dont trust this situation and we definitely never agreed to a sales price of $6k more. Now the owner visited our home to review the work and supposedly told the salesman that we owe a total of $10k. This is completely absurd. We dont have that money and made our budget clear of what we could spend. We trusted their calculations that were signed for in the contract. We feel we are being targeted and they are trying to scam us for money they are not owed. I have had plenty of other home improvement jobs completed by other companies and we never had issues. The price is the price stated on the contract. We are not paying more than what is on the contract.
