    3/30/25 I called Top One Pest Control ************, left msg. A man called me from ************ & said a technician would call. **** called from ************ & would be at my home by 4p.m. **** said he was able to treat termites. Upon ******************** **** *********** (his spelling) told me it would be 5075 & I told him if he was charging me over $5000.00 to spray to leave now. I said this 3x. He said no too much *****. I asked him to write the amount, and he said he was a man of his word. He charged $5,526.30 to spray my home, called me a liar & said he never agreed to *****, & wanted $526.96 to come back to spray in one week. I told him I would pay the $526.96 today and he was not to come back. He only wanted *****, and I refused to pay. I paid with **** under distress because he would not leave. The receipt I received on 3/30/25 did not have my signature. The receipt they sent to **** I never saw. I called *************************** phone on 3/31/25 & the message was not accepting calls at this time. I sent an email asking for someone to call and ****** **** ************ Manager, responding to my email said he would look into the matter. He never responded to any other emails. I have since called the ********************************* and they cannot find this business in their data base. He used mice and rat pesticide. The *** is still trying to locate the business, and I have a formal complaint registered with them. If this business is truly unlicensed, they need to be stopped. I am attaching a letter I received from the DEC. I am fighting Amex re: the charge and I am sending the formal letter from DEC to them. The amount charged was way above what other companies charge. In the past I have paid $250.00 for spraying in and outside the home. I had another company put the termite traps outside for $1600.00. The DEC is referring this to the Queens DEC district 3 to see what they find. **** said he was out sourced by the business I first called.
