I have called them twice about a leak and have no response. The first call was on 4-3-25 , and the second call was placed on 4-9-25. All I want is the leak to be fixed, it's supposed to be a lifetime warranty. The shower unit was installed in January. Thank you.

I had signed a contract to have this company remove the old floor and shower and install new flooring and move an air vent. The company came in and when they installed the floor it was very uneven, and moved up and down in spots when walking on it. I pulled back some pieces of the flooring and found they had placed pieces of the cardboard box the flooring came in under the floor as attempt to level it. I called the owner and he said it was common practice but everythingive found says its very poor practice. I asked to have the floor replaced correctly and they complied, but only because I caught them being dishonest. I was told the company removes down to studs and replaces with new green or purple board. The company only removed what they had to and used existing sheet rock to go over and where they had to replace they used standard plywood. I had to ask for them to remove pieces they originally said they would but weren't going to. They also claimed they had no knowledge of agreeing to move the air vent but agreed to do. When they cut the hole for the new air vent they placed it directly over the water line and in front of the toilet. I told them where to place the air vent and they did not do it correctly but are saying they did. The owner refused to move it to the correct location. I was told by the sales man they replace plumbing back to the shut off for the shower, toilet and vanity but when the showed up were only willing to replace the end valves of the toilet, vanity. They did replace the piping for the shower. The owner told me he would not move the air vent to correct location unless I paid more money. They left the hole in the floor. They called saying the power went out the bathroom. The gfci they were using had popped and couldnt be reset. I had to replace at my cost. I have had to leave work 2-3 times a day, everyday, to make sure they were doing the work correctly because of the constant issues and not being able to trust them while I was work.

I have read Mr. ********* complaint. The first five lines of his complaint regarding the installation of his LVP flooring were resolved the next day by BathPlanet after he brought up concerns to me about the items he mentioned in his letter. I had my crew completely remove the floor and install plywood over the entire floor and re-install the LVP floor covering. Mr. ******** told me the next day he was satisfied with the fix? Mr. ********* complaint about the walls are completely unfounded. We follow strict manufacture guidelines that give us the flexibility to install sheet rock and plywood combinations that will give us the best source of reinforcement and underlayment prior to installing our Acrylic walls. That is exactly what we did on his project and the thousands of jobs we have done for the past 22 years. The real problems started to happen when Mr. ******** started to pressure the crews at his home to complete tasks that were CLEARLY not on the contract. When questioned about these tasks his response was, "the sales rep told me we will do it". When I questioned my Sales rep, he stated he did not promise a bunch of free work to be done? No where in the contract is it stated we will be (1) Cutting in and or capping HVAC vents and registers in his floor (2) Replacing all of his existing plumbing UNDERNEATH his house that is currently fine and has no issues. (3) Replacing all of his shutoffs for his sink and vanity, toilet, and shower (4) Sheet rocking and finishing his plumbing wall (that he agreed to do prior to us starting the job). Our contract that Mr. ******** signed on 12/5/25 CLEARY states; "NO VERBAL AGREEMENT RECOGNIZED". I mistakenly did all of these items he demanded for free (except for item #3) and now he using it against BathPlanet to not pay his full total amount of his contract and shorting us an unreasonable amount of $1400.Mr. ******** instructed my men to place a vent hole in his floor. Our installers cut it EXACTLY where he instructed us to and now claims it is a few inches away from where he wanted it. I believe Mr. ******** purposely used this misinformation to take advantage of our company in order to use the vent issue to help him take money off the contact at the end. When we discussed the vent location at his house on 3/20/25 he told me he could live with it " if he could just pay me $3000 for the final payment" instead of the $5400 owed on the contract? He was asking for a $2400 discount for a vent being a few inches of from where he "claimed" he originally wanted. Needless to say, I found Mr. ********* offer to be completely outrageous and it appeared to me that he was trying to create a situation to take advantage of our company in an attempt to not pay his remaining balance on our contract. As for his breaker popping on the job, anyone in construction knows this is a pretty common occurrence. We have no control of a GFCI breaker resetting and no control of how his house is wired and the loads it will take when using our power tools.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
They replaced the floor because I caught them doing shotty work. I will not bicker back and forth with "you said, I said". Jim bacon agreed to provide a $400 discount which I can prove. No he told me so. In writing and he will not acknowledged the discount. Jim b**** didnt give me anytime to make final owed payment before placing a lien on my home.  I want to make final payment so I can rid bath planet from my life, but he is not allowing it to happen by ignoring his signed document showing the credit of $400.  His response to my complaint here is a clear indication of lack of responsibility for a poorly ran company. He allows his sales team to promise things to make a sale and then retracks and accused me of dishonesty. I asked to lower the price and he became offended and refused but eventually did settle on $400 discount that he is no longer acknowledging.  I now have to fix a hole in the floor, finish sanding the walls and sealing the shower he installed. I was charged for a vanity installation that was never installed because I never asked for a vanity install but was NEVER credited back work that was paid for but never done.  Acknowledge the credit so I can pay and move on
    Regards,
