    Reserved their boom lift for 2 days, a week in advance. Picked up the unit at 9am and got back to my house around 9:30am. Set up the machine and got it up in the air to find out the extension would go out slowly then not hold and sink back into the unit. Called the center and the guys came out 30min later around 1030am. Told them I plugged it in because in the time I had it the battery dropped to 1/2. They tinkered around for 30 min saying it was low on fluid and had a bad seal (even though it was just back from service). Told me to talk with “Laura” about compensation/payment as they towed it away because it wasn’t in working condition at 11am. Laura tried to charge me 4hr min ($150) for an unsafe/shouldn’t have been rented out machine when my day rate was ($180). Unacceptable in my opinion for something that could have injured me or damaged other property. After going back and forth from $150 to $100 to the final $50 charge. It is crazy that a local business would treat someone like this and not just eat the whole rental for a machine that the employees said should be out of commission while at my house. As I know they don’t care when people say this but I’ll just take my business elsewhere for rentals and Stihl equipment. Best of luck do it center and hope that lift gets replaced before you have a bigger problem on your hands.
