In April 2022, I hired ******* to create a website for my business. It was unfortunate that I had to pay before the website was complete. The website is not finished. In addition, some words were misspelled, and I wasn't given what I requested. In order to make my website look the way I wanted it to, I had to send examples of what I wanted it to look like. I did not find the website to be user-friendly or even close to what I wanted. My complaint is similar to others that have been filed. They steal money from people. In exchange for removing the Thumbtack review I submitted, the company promised to redo my website, but I won't because I don't trust them. The company is fraudulent and I would like my money back.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused and would be glad to assist you in the best possible way.

We investigated your matter and found that our team sent you different mockups and considered the changes in response to your requests. After this, we developed your website, and upon submission, you went unresponsive. According to our *************** Services policy, If Client declines the completed milestone or Service within the Acceptance Period, they are not eligible for any chargeback, or requests for reversal of funds. However, our team has made every effort to accommodate you with the best and is still willing to discuss the possibilities of getting this project done.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The mock up you sent me was has not been completed and it has inaccurate information. You all sent me an unfinished website. I never went unresponsive but I am in disagreement and I no longer wish to work with you. I just want my refund because you did not deliver on your end of the contract as promised.

    Business Response

    Hello Concerned,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and giving us the opportunity to submit our side of the story.

Client paid us in two instalments of $300 each totalling to $600 the decided project price. First invoice was paid on April 14th, 2022 and second invoice was paid on Apr 28th, 2022. I am sure the client was happy with our service because of which she paid the second payment.

Any how, both the invoices (as attached to this email) has a content on them that states:

By paying this invoice payer/ client/ customer agrees to the Terms and Conditions of the Company (Anideos) as stated on
************************************************************;. In case of any question, concerns and/or disagreement payer/ client/ customer is
requested to contact ********************** at ******************************* prior to accepting & paying this quote/ invoice or within 24 hours of receiving
    a receipt."

Considering this client did agree to our terms and conditions on the mentioned link. I'd like to direct your attention to our terms and conditions page (*******************************************************) under section 3 "FEE", which clearly states"

"ALL FEES MADE TO COMPANY BY CLIENT PURSUANT TO THE QUOTE/INVOICE IS CONSIDERED FULLY EARNED BY COMPANY AT TIME OF PAYMENT AND IS NONREFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER."

That being said, please view the attached PDF file by the name of "****************** Communication". In this PDF, you can see that client did approve the home page design on April 24th, 2022 (page 4 of the document).

In the same document, if you please view slide 3. We explicitly mentioned to the client that the content used for now is dummy, I am not sure how she can find the grammatical errors on dummy content.

Conversely, the actual content was supposed to be provided by the client, that we kept following up for, please view slide 9 of the same document. She sent us the content in the month of OctSo. Initially the content was dummy and later it was provided by the client, if there are grammatical errors in the content provided by her then how are we responsible. We'll be happy to fix that for no extra cost.

    CONCERN 1:
    Client: Client requesting refund.
Our Response: Client agreed to the terms and conditions of no refund policy, and now she is asking for a refund. As described above

    CONCERN 2:
Client: Client being dissatisfied with the designs.
Our Response: As can be seen above, the client approved the home page mockup along with the inner pages, how can she be dissatisfied with the designs she approved in writing?

    CONCERN 3:
Client: Client finding grammatical errors in the content.
Our Response: As can be seen above, we informed clients about the content being dummy in the design phase. And the actual content was provided by the client, how can we be responsible for grammatical errors in the content provided by the client.

    SUGGESTED RESOLUTION:
We are willing to redo her entire project from scratch at no extra cost.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I approved the mock up which did not have all my information. Once they submitted the information for my website their were errors and issues with the site. I requested that a few pages be removed to make it more user friendly and Anideos refused to do so. The terms and conditions of the contract is insane because they never delivered a completed project. That is unlawful and they are fraud.
