    The cleaner who arrived is a FABULOUS cleaner with an upbeat personality — a joy to have in our house. We are both of the age where COVID was a great danger to us, so we had to give up having a Castle cleaner come in three years ago. I've been incapacitated for about three months and couldn't clean and couldn't stand the condition of our house. I'm so glad I was able to get a Castle clearner back. Her time here reminded me what a pleasure it was to have someone else do a really thorough cleaning. I doubt that I will be able to give her up even when I get well enough to clean again. I'm a huge fan!

    After five failed attempts by another company over a three week period to completely install an operational garage door opener I reached out to Castle Services. Rich arrived around noon and had everything operational in about an hour. He was prompt, polite and professional. I won’t hesitate to reach out to them again.

    We feel so fortunate to be in Jane and Rich Reigle's Castle Services of Ithaca's flock.
    Their right hand man, Brandon, is a terrific ambassador for this multi-purpose company.
    While giving our home a whole house window washing,
    he was flexible enough to address so many additional concerns--a possible roof deterioration on a top floor, a replacement of some structural underpinnings on a large unattached building,
    and a plan to preserve some dormer fascia, so that it doesn't rot.
    For each concern we inquired about, Brandon and Rich Reigle came up with practical remedies,
    and Castle Services has a large network of providers, so through Castle's referrals,
    we will be the recipients of high quality makeovers by tried and true local workers.
    As we age out in our eccentric old home, having Castle Service's wide range of expertise
    gives us confidence that whatever comes up, Jane and Rich will know how we can proceed.
    Invaluable.
    The Castle Services' window washing protocol is based on using high quality materials,
    without toxic substances and the result is dazzling.
    Thank you Rich and Janie for sending Brandon to give us a lovely view
    through sparkling clean windows this Autumn.
    Without any reservations we recommend calling Castle Services
    for your upcoming projects.
    They are very popular because they provide stellar results,
    but the wait is worth it.

    Had an appointment for an estimate thought it went ok will get back to you soon etc.
    Called back after a couple of days and was curtly informed they did not want my business based on the visit from the estimator.
    The estimator, a scruffy kid looking nothing like a professional went to my neighbors house by mistake, looking for Roger instead of ****** and arrived at 4pm not the agreed appointment time of 5pm.
    I thought it was a normal estimate/customer interaction but the estimator misrepresented everything I said in a negative way though again we shook hands and parted on the deal. Then they told me on the phone in a lecturing manner they would NEVER come to my address EVER.
    Most unprofessional and ignorant tone so I feel fortunate I did not hire them.
    I don’t know what their work is like but they need to address their customer service and how to politely speak to potential customers.

    I do not recommend using this company for cleaning. They do not charge by the hour they charge by the job. After agreeing that it takes 2.5 to 3 hours to clean my house we agreed on a price. We also agreed the cleaning would be a certain day of the week and in between certain hours while I was at work. It turns out that the cleaning person assigned me lives 45 minutes away and that has to take their child to school in the morning. After 4 months of what I would call mediocre cleaning I asked my cleaner why she could not finish the job within the times we agreed upon. She replied that she was getting there only one hour before the time she was supposed to be gone from the house. Then they had the nerve to raise the rate on me. When I confronted the owner that I was paying for a 2.5 to 3 hour job and was only getting one hour of work she defended herself by saying..."we do not charge by the hour but by the job". I fired her on the spot and asked to be released from making payment on my last cleaning which I thought was more than reasonable. She refused and threatened to put a lien on my house if I did not pay it.

    ****, unfortunately you would not allow for any other scheduling times or days which was a problem from the beginning. We are struggling with a timely show with this employee and have had staffing issues as most are having during this time. You did not mention any problem whatsoever in advance which would have allowed us the option to correct the situation. Due to your time restrictions we ended it the way that we did. You should have let us know there was a problem and given us more flexibility - but you gave neither.
