I brought my 2021 ***** *** **** to the repair shop three times for a broken electric window bracket. It is still not fixed to where I dare roll down the window as I will be at the shop again with a new truck with an non functioning window in the freezing cold. I bought the truck in good faith thinking cold weather would not be an issue with the window. At this latitude where the temperatures that fall below zero I expect my window to function appropriately. I explained to the service department the first time it broke that is happened when it was below freezing. The window would fall into the door and was unable to roll back up. They got it right in and fixed it in hours, same day- I do appreciate this. I do not want to be unreasonable. However when it is below freezing and I go to work to get into the parking ramp i need to roll down my window. I also enjoy a cup of coffee every now and again and frequent the *** *******- I need to roll down the window. The bank also requires the occasional window roll down ( unless it is already broken of course, but it is freezing remember so there is the problem) and the pharmacy requires a roll down, well you get the idea. I do not want to go in and be exposed to people during cold and flu season and want to avoid getting COVID. All I ask is that when it is winter I need my window to work- I do not want to go to the shop when the temp drops below zero. Now the third time I brought the truck in they had a bit of an attitude. For example the service department manager Jay informed me he had the same truck and his window is working fine in the cold and " I wonder what you are doing" to have it break all the time. The salesman also was snarky and said it has to be the way I am pushing the button, " operator error". Now I can see that maybe they were trying to add some levity to the situation and I appreciate the humor in this but I want the window to work in winter.
