    Chautauqua pools is the most unprofessional and are not dependable at all. The in ground pool that we had installed was one issue after another right from the beginning. Several times they would say they are going to be there on a specified day and they did not show up or even hear from the for days
    The wiring looked like something a teenager did which I cleaned up before inspection was done. Just to find out that the GFI outlet was not installed which I’m sure he will blame the electrician but the electrician went thru hell trying to deal with Brandon not doing as he said he would.
    The cover for the drain looks like something out of the hood that is not even functional. Which has been an issue for 1 1/2 months where we have been told one story after another.
    On several occasions Brandon complained about other customers giving him grief. No freakn wonder when you run a business in this manner.
    I can just imagine the hassle of getting to pool closed for the season that was already payed for.

    This business has lied to me at least 10x in the past 14 months. I paid $8000 cash for an oval pool in beginning of April 2022. The total was about $12000. They failed to tell me that you only had to have half down to order it. LeAnn said that it would be installed at the earliest in July 22 or at latest the first week of August 22. About Aug. 8th I called to see where our pool was. She said verbatim, “I’m so sorry I dropped the ball on that it’s my fault “. Then she finally told me that their installer installs for their company plus 2 others. She didn’t tell me this in April when I paid for it. Fast forward to April 2023. Left a msg. rcvd call back about 3 weeks later. Brandon said, “I’m sorry we were in Florida longer than we planned and I have 100 msgs. here”. I asked him about 2 weeks ago approximately when our pools would be installed, he was rude, ignorant, and continued to say I can’t give you a date. I’ll talk to installer and promise to call you tmrw., that should’ve been Tues.. He finally called Wednesday afternoon. At this point I know I’m not getting anything for $ I paid over 1 year ago. So I talked to them this week said I’d be up for a refund on Weds.. I get there and LeAnn & Brandon tell me that they’ll give me $5700 but not $8000. They said they charge 20% for returned items. I told them I have had nothing to return and wanted my money back. They run a real s******* here!!! They lie continuously and make false statements. Also bother told me that I should sue their installer bc it’s his fault..Unreal!!!! We’re letting our Atty. deal with this. I don’t want them to fraud someone else who’s trustworthy and honest.

    While we understand your frustration that your pool installation didn't happen in the timeframe you would have liked, we told you (just as we tell everyone who buys a pool from us) that we don't handle the installation and that you are welcome to use any installer you like or use the one we have worked with in the past. We inform everyone at the time of their purchase that he does not work for us, he is a subcontractor that is used by multiple companies in the area. Nobody here ever would have said "I dropped the ball", because the ball isn't ours to drop. We can give you an estimation based on what the installer says, but unfortunately that is all we can do. Our portion of the deal is to get you everything needed for your pool package and that is just what we did. And we always tell our customers that only a 50% deposit is required, which you knew because you even said in this store last week that you paid $8000 because you wanted a smaller payment to deal with when the time came for you to pay the remainder. You were never forced or tricked into paying more than the 50% deposit. And yes we do charge a 20% restocking fee because WE have to pay a 20% restocking fee when we return anything to our distributors. We offered to deliver your entire pool package free of charge to avoid the restocking fee, which you declined and that is well within your right.
    Again, we are truly sorry that your pool didn't get installed when you would have liked. We wish it didn't have to come to this, and we wish you all the best from here. Thank you.
