Purchased a John Deere Commercial mower to be delivered to **** ****** ********* **, for $800. It was delivered on July 6th and did not work. It shredded a belt after mowing for approximately twenty feet. Rodney Miller, owner of Rev It Up Small Engine Repair, was unable to find parts or the time to repair it until July 24th. I spent the eight hours waiting for Mr. Miller on July 24th, 2022. I arrived at 8am, as agreed, but Mr. Miller didn't respond until 1:55pm that he was at the hospital with his mother and would not be able to make our appointment.

Mr. Miller came back on July 29th, 2022, to make repairs. It was clear as soon as he finished it wasn't working properly. He assured me that despite obvious wear on the replacement belt that it was kevlar and would last. It mowed approximately 1/4 of the yard, a hundred square feet or so, before the belt shredded completely and the mower stopped working. I had been mowing for less than a half hour. Mr. Miller replied to me to me when i told him the new belt shredded was as follows "With maybe one othose pulley has a bud in it I do have a bigger cub cadet coming in supposed to just need a fuel pump we will figure something out for sure"

On August 4th, 2022, Mr. Miller said "Hey **** I was gonna say I'm not busy Sunday I could bring my big John deer over knock all they tall grass down for you and then that mower will be more than enough for you and we will put a new belt and stuff on it that tall grass may be a little much for it it's up to you let me know guy is supposed to deliver these mowers I bought a month ago tomorrow"

Mr. Miller did not make it back to the ******** ******* for repairs, replacement, or mowing until December 15th. He didn't take the mower and did not reply again until January 5th, 2023.

He stopped replying altogether on April 5th 2023.

Nearly all communication was done over Facebook messenger and I'm attempting to download the conversation still.

    A used
36” commercial John Deer Mower was purchased by Mr. ******** as is in July of
2022.  Prior to purchasing Mr. ********
came to my place of business and gave the mower a test run after he was given a
brief overview of how to operate the mower.
Upon delivery I again gave a brief lesson on how to run the mower and
even mowed a portion of the lawn.  The
lawn appeared extremely high, approximately 2-3 foot in height and looked as
though it had not been adequately maintained.
When leaving the delivery location, Mr. ******** was mowing with the
machine.  I believe it was the very next
day Mr. ******** reached out and advised the blades were not working.  Upon inspection of the mower, I found that
the belt had been worn/damaged and that was why the blades would not turn.  The belt was replaced and that due to the
height of the lawn he should raise the deck of the mower higher and take
smaller paths to help prevent damage to the mower.  I did not charge him for the service call which
    would have cost approximately $250.
Again, when I left the location the mower was in proper working
condition.  A second repair trip was made
to replace the belt on the John Deer mower and again this was at no cost and
the belt was replaced for the second time.
Mr. ******** did not take advice to raise the deck or mow in smaller
paths and it was obvious that this is why the belt had again been under to much
stress and broke.  Mr. ******** purchased
a used mower as is with no warranty, he has had the mower in his possession for
approximately 10 months and it is unknown how if he has attempted any repairs
or if the machine was stored appropriately during the winter months so the
condition of the mower at this time is unknown.
Attempts were made to instruct how to operate the machine and even went
above and beyond replacing the belts at no charge due to the machine being
    overworked.
