    On 1/24/2023 ****** from *********************************************** Gsrage Doors came to my house to replace the spring on my garage door. He charged me $353.03, which I paid using a personal check. On Wednesday 2/2/23 I called ****** to let him know that the spring he just repaired to week before had split in half again. He told me he would see if he had the part and if he didnt he would get it and come to my house Friday 2/3/23 and fix it. I spoke to him on Friday he said he would be at my house that evening and would call me an hour before so I knew when he would be here. He never came or called me. Called him again on Saturday 2/4/23 and left him a message to see what happened. Never heard back so on Monday 2/6/23 leaving another message asking him when he was able to come fix my garage door. When I didnt hear back from him again on Tuesday 2/7/23 I decided to call ****** from my job which is a different phone # and as expected ****** picked up the phone. He apologized and said he thought he was texting me. I told him I never received any text from him and he said oh thats weird the person was responding to me and then I asked what number he was texting and it wasnt my #. He told me he had the part and he would call me to set up an appointment and he never called. I tried texting on Thursday 2/8/23 and called again on Friday 2/10/23 with no response. I called my bank to see if I can do anything about the check, but it was already cashed so nothing could be done. I had to have another company come in to fix the garage door and they informed me that the spring ****** put on was used and not the correct size.
