Hired Anthonys Carpet 9/2022 for installation of a COMMERCIAL floor for a dental office. Was guaranteed the floor he recommended was commercial and would hold up with dental chairs and he has installed "in many professional offices." Asked SEVERAL times to be sure it would hold up for high traffic and dental chair rolling around. Was guaranteed no problem. One month after install, the floor started to come up and chip. Owner contacted and said should not be happening. He replaced a few planks and said hope that would resolve issue. Continued to happen for next 15 months. Dental office even placed glass mats over vinyl flooring but continued to happen throughout office. At first carpet owner took responsibility and said he would replace because this shouldn't be happening 1 year after install. One week later I received a letter that *******'s carpets will replace faulty pieces and not entire faulty floor. He admitted it was not supposed to be happening and saw all precautions we were taking to avoid it.

I hired Anthonys custom carpets to install my new floor. They did and I paid in full on 7/9/2022. Upon further inspection I noticed several issues which I requested to be fixed. These include a faulty step I mention below, a hole in a wall his workers created, broken molding that needs to be replaced, broken tiles that need to be repaired or replaced, and improper installation of transition strips. ******* sent one of his workers to look at the issues on 7/13/2022. I then continued to follow up to get him to come and fix the floor issues. One such issue is a step that was improperly installed and is a tripping hazard. I did trip over this step. After about a week ******* then became unreachable and ignored my calls and texts. No attempts were made to fix any of the issues. I have since learned through a contractor that he has closed his business. I am now having to pay $1,100 for my handyman to fix Anthonys mistakes so I am seeking refund of $1,100 to compensate my handyman for work.
