    On 1/5/22 I placed an order with this company. I was charged in full via *** *** for $212.95. They clearly stated the product WAS IN STOCK AND READY TO SHIP. Order # *******; Customer number: *******.

    They've NEVER contacted me about why it was not filled and late, and condescendingly stated "it is well known in the industry that these orders can take 12-18 months" 1) THAT WAS NEVER STATED AWHERE WHEN I MADE MY PURCHASE. If I had known that--I NEVER would have paid $212.95 to sit and wait--its a model car for that was a gift to my nephew. I've emailed them now 3x DEMANDING A REFUND!--which they totally refuse to do, only to once again be extremely condescending by stating "Im lucky to have even gotten on their wait-list, and that I am to be patient --and that they will send it once it arrives. IT WAS IN STOCK WHEN I MADE THE PURCHASE. If you take the time to read any reviews--you'll quickly see I'm not alone! These guys are a total scam! They make a promise---you make said payment in full. Then nothing--total silence! It is now December! almost 12 months since i made the purchase. PLEASE HELP ME! PLEASE HELP ME GET MY MONEY BACK! And PLEASE INTERVENE WITH THEIR SCAMMING BUSINESS PRACTICES! Thank You--I'm an active duty Army service member stationed in Korea---I have very little ability to do much of anything being stationed so far away. Can you please help this service member recover his money? I would be forever grateful! I don't know what else to do. I've spoken with our legal team at Camp Humphreys and they've informed me that doing a small claims case would take a ton of effort and money. Thank You so much for reviewing my claim.     We have been communicating with this customer. The item that he ordered is and has always been a pre-order. This item has never been and was never advertised as in stock. in several places on our website and in our communication with the customer we attempted to explain tht this is the way this industry works. at no time did he ask for a refund. we would have refunded immediately. As a matter of fact, it states very clearly on our site to no use ****** for pre-orders . Here are the links to this information on our site. This information is also on the confirmation email that customers receive when placing an order.****************************************returnsPre-Orders Explained: Pre-orders usually do not have a solid ETA date. Your orders will be charged and filled as soon as they arrive into stock. Orders are shipped in the order that they are placed. Please DO NOT use ****** when placing an order for a future model that is not yet in stock. These models are clearly listed on our site as Pre-Orders. ****** immediately charges in full for all purchases. Use a credit card when making a pre-order. The credit card is not charged until the model arrives into stock at our warehouse, and ships out to you. Cancelling orders prior to shipment is permitted. ****** will only accept refunds for 6 months from the date of the original transaction. After 6 months, cancellations will receive site credit for the amount of the order. Collectors and those familiar with this industry are no stranger to this process. Models are announced as Pre-orders and manufacturers typically take 12-18 months for delivery. Your pre-orders will stand in line until the model arrives. Orders are shipped in the order that they are placed. More and more we are seeing manufacturers choosing to produce fewer models in more limited runs. This is where placing a pre-order becomes very important. With smaller runs, models often will sell out with pre-orders placed. If you see a model that you desire for your collection, placing a pre-order is always a good idea! This information has also been communicated to the customer in several emails. they are attached. we can cut him a check for his refund as it is beyond the 6 moths that ****** allows for a refund. This model will be arriving shortly as most of the 2021 Race models are coming in now. In this industry F1 models are announced as soon as the race is complete and then it takes about 12 months from the date of the race for product to arrive. This is why we are so insistent that customers not use ******. Customers who are not used to this often get confused because they want what they want then they want it. unfortunately, until the race is run the manufacturers have no way of knowing what the car, tires, helmet ect will look like or who the winner will be. Sometimes, no matter how many times we explain this, customers just do not want to hear it. I will go ahead and mail out his refund check to the address on the order.
