    Hired for a job that was never successfully completed. Multiple request to come out and complete the job when unanswered. Vinyl fence gate is still not operable. Just want refund for materials.

    BBB spoke to ****** at the business and the following was relayed: I guarantee my work and am willing to fix anything he doesn't like.  If he doesn't want me out there, I am willing to refund up to 20% of the material cost.

    My 6-ft wood fencing was collasping during winter 2021/spring 2022. I was in the hospital during the winter and was home by Feb. 2022. This was the only company that said they could start ASAP. Should have known these guys were sleazes when the reputable compansies said they could be out in spring, but that they already had other jobs scheduled. Showed during rain season. There was Austin M**** (phone *********. Had trust issues from the very first. Said there would be a warranty on repairs of 15 years-later he told me it would be 10 years. I could not get him to give that in writing nor would he give me a receipt for the $4300 I paid. Gave me the runaround , like "it was stolen from truck, I forgot." The very next day after he left, the fence was falling down again! I went into the hospital again. Called him from the hospital and told him of the problem, Said he would fix it. When I got home, no repairs had been done. and the fence was falling down again. I'm close to 70 yrs. old, on a very tight budget & I'm paying for my husband's nursing home. I need help. Austin is a liar, cheat, and told me he had purchased ***** Fencing. Not true! Called him every day, sometimes twice a day. Funny how when I went on their website, couldn't leave a review (said it was "out of area" contractor.

    I hired and signed a contract with them to fix my privacy fence at the end of April 2022. They came to my house to start the project on May 3, 2022. The started to take my fence apart and then went to **** ***** to order 1 new Veranda Linden 6ft x 8ft Fence Panel. I also gave them a check for the full amount because I assumed they were going to start my project that day. $1,500. After many delays, they said they would be at my house July 5, they didn't show, then they said July 11. Each time they are expected to come out, they have an excuse. The transmission on their truck went, they got Covid, then their truck was stolen. On July 7 I finally decided that I just wanted my money back. At that point, the main contact stopped communicating with me. On July 13 the other owner told me he would call me the next day to figure something out. We spoke and agreed that he would do my project and start it on July 20. On July 19 at 7:23pm he texted me saying he couldn't come, still playing catchup because of the stolen truck and covid. He promised to come out today, July 27. I texted him on July 25 to see if they were still coming and he said yes. I texted him 4 times on July 26 to see if they were still coming and he never responded. Finally, this morning, July 27, I wrote him and told him I wanted my money back. No response. I have a lot of text message records, the estimate, a picture of what they ordered at **** *****, I have their cell phone numbers, email addresses. I just want my money back.
