They talked me into signing up with them. Telling me there's campgrounds all over the US in every state. I told them we were moving to SC and they told me there where campgrounds close to where we were. They were persuant about us signing up. We never used the membership last year. We told tim we were moving to SC we no longer wished to be member because his security told me there's no campgrounds by us after all. We told him not to touch my annuity money he continued to run ach payments even after I put stop payment and again told him I was no longer in NY to stop touching my account or I will get the BBB as well as the attorney general involved he still ran payments. They are a timeshare which he didn't disclose to me . They were dishonest about being able to use the membership in SC. Tim is very good at treating and intimidating my wife but won't threaten or intimate me! He prays on a female.to.threaten to sue her and have her arrested.

      To whom it may concern,
Mr. & Mrs. ******** camped for 3 days with us and joined Lazy Lakes on September 24, 2022.  They purchased a membership that allowed them unlimited day use and RV camping from May 1st to November 1st each year, cabin rentals if they choose, and the option to travel to other resorts, which they declined.  They both signed and received all membership documents. They chose to finance their purchase (there is a copy enclosed showing the down payment, finance charges, and when their payment started). They stated in writing that they liked the resort because it was kid-friendly, activities, and pools.
Mrs. ******** called on September 14, 2023, and stated they were moving to South Carolina, and she wanted to cancel her membership.  She was told she could not just cancel; she has financed her purchase and needs to pay in full.  She also said she had no copy of her contract, which she was given when they joined (we have a signed receipt that they did receive when they joined).  I tried to reach out and left a message on both Mr. & Mrs. ********’s phones on September 17, 2023.  Mrs. ******** called back on September 20, 2023, she told me she wasn’t going to pay what she owed, and that she was moving, to which I said you still need to pay off what she financed.  She was yelling, she was moving, and I said I would mail her another copy of her contract for the purchase of her membership.
In regards to James’ statement, we are not a timeshare, we simply offered them the membership and explained all the benefits in detail.  They stayed with us for 3 days and 2 nights at no charge. They liked the resort and membership and decided to join, it was their decision. We do have reciprocal campgrounds in the United States.  South Carolina was never mentioned until September 2023 long after they had signed the membership agreement.  They were given a packet with directories and a map that contained all of the resorts they could use when they activated the travel clubs.  There never were any resorts in South Carolina.
We had no verbal or written notice to stop the automatic payments, only when we were notified by the bank.
As for being dishonest, intimidating, and threatening; that is the furthest from the truth and take offense to that statement.
The fact of the matter is, the ********s, bought a membership and signed a contract.  If they do not get current, we will send them a 30-day notice.  If they choose not to pay after 30 days, we will send them to collections as stated in the contract they signed.

      Sincerely,
      ******* ** *****
