      The customer service was ineffective. The website was inaccessible, it put me in an endless loop of changing my password and then requiring 'activation' of the account, which triggered another password reset. They did not communicate with me about the phone or confirm receipt (I had the post office receipt) until I prompted them for a status update several weeks after they received the phone. They changed the offer amount based on a photo of damage that was not even a photo of the phone I sent in - and they would not provide a photo of the full phone, only the 'damaged' corner. My phone was not damaged, which was clear from the photos I took before I shipped, and it was triple wrapped in bubble wrap for shipping. This was a terrible experience and I would warn people to stay away from this site.

      They have had my phone for three weeks now. Their policy clearly states that it would be 5-7 business days after receipt of the phone for them to issue payment. I emailed support last week and the reply on 9/20/23 was "we created a ticket with our QC Team on your behalf to expedite the inspection process. Due to a recent increase in trade-ins we are currently experiencing an additional lag on all inspection updates. Rest assured your order will be updated within this week and we will email you as soon as it is." I emailed again this week and the response was "We apologize for the delay again, but your item is currently in the queue and will receive an update within the next few business days."They need to change their policy to state that it could be three weeks or longer to receive payment. Next time I will go back to Gazelle.

      They couldn't make it any easier. Choose your device, answer a few questions, and get ********** of what they will give you for it. You can even select to have them ship you a kit for free to mail your item back to them in. *** arrives fast and they get the device returned fast to them. Usually 5 days or less from the time you get ********** to getting paid. I have traded in two phones and each time I was very pleased. Will use them again in the future.

      I had a Great experience dealing with Buy Back World. Absolutely no problems whatsoever, the entire process was streamlined and hassle-free. I got a quote for my used electronics online, downloaded and printed the prepaid shipping label, and wrapped up my stuff and mailed using ***** They got it in ******** a couple days later, inspected my item and sent payment electronically. Overall it was a very easy process. I highly recommend Buy Back World to anyone looking to sell their pre owned electronics, smartphones, watches etc in good working condition. Thank you and hope to do business again in the future .
