  I have used Seamen's Moving twice to move items from ******** to the ****** area and they have done the job wonderfully. The first move was very complicated as it involved moving furniture and other items *** to three locations in the ****** area, including ~25 paintings, some so large that they didn't fit into the elevators and had to be walked down 10 floors. Other complications included complex access regulations and timing restrictions at both the source (*******************************) and one Boston destination. The second move involved another large batch of paintings. Both moves were dealt with flawlessly, and the crews were very helpful in getting things into the right places at each location. I would recommend Seamen's Moving without hesitation.

  I had a very unpleasant experience with this company. They gave me a quote for my move that seemed reasonable. But immediately after the move they demanded thousands more. It rained on moving day and they failed to protect my expensive mattress which became both wet and soiled. They packed for me, and one of four valuable antique chandeliers the only one small enough to fit in a box somehow vanished. When I could not locate that chandelier after finally unpacking every last box, a little more than two months after the move, they said nothing could be done because 90 days had elapsed and I had signed a document on moving day, surrounded by a sea of boxes. Some books and personal records are also missing. On the whole, it was a very expensive move. If you move with them, sign nothing until all of your possessions are accounted for.
