    I brought my vehicle in to be looked at for an engine light issue under warranty. The dealership performed repairs not covered under warranty without notifying me or getting my permission prior to the repair leaving me with a 540 repair bill. Also I only made it within 2 miles and the issue came back.

    Response taken by phone:  He did not buy the vehicle from us but we will service it under the warranty.  The spark plugs are not covered under the warranty.  He needs bring the vehicle back for a diagnosis of his additional concerns (no diagnosis fee).  From there we can determine if the problem is covered under the warranty.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
    We are still avoiding the main issue that the work was performed without my authorization and I was stuck with a large bill I would not have had done, I would of payed the diagnostic fee and been on my way after learning it was not a warrantied issue. Also after one large surprise bill why would I return there for any more work? The vehicle had a bad ignition coil that has since been replaced and solved the issue, they obviously overlooked.
