    I paid ***** ******* (Owner of CASK) $1700 for summer camp for my daughter, **** *******, to attend from 7/9/24 thru August 2024. My daughter passed away on 7/20/24, I notified *** ******* through email of my daughter's passing on 7/22/24. He didn't reply so I called him the next day before class started, to confirm if he received my message. He stated that he didn't see the email, but because he "has integrity" he would give me a refund, because of the extenuating circumstances. I let exactly 2 weeks pass and contacted *** *******, he rushed us (my mother and I) off the call, with no resolution. I then went to his studio, where the camp is located, and *** ******* was standing in the lobby, seemingly not busy, but when I came to ask about my refund, he became rude, with my sister and I and stated he didn't have time for this and said he had a class to get back to, and disappeared to his classroom, and that he would be contacting me soon. Here it is, nearly a month later and I haven't heard from *** *******. I shouldn't have to chase him down about a payment for a transaction that my daughter wasn't able to complete. I understand if he wants to retain partial payment for the 4 classes my daughter did complete, but it is criminal for him to to retain the whole payment. I lost my daughter, husband, and stepson all on 7/20/24, I'm already dealing with this tragedy. I shouldn't have to deal with this also. Fair is fair and if *** ******* did have the integrity that he stated he has, he would refund me as he stated.
