      At my encouragement, my mother contracted the services of the Central NY office of Seniors Helping Seniors (SHS) in May, 2023. They found a provider that visited Mom twice/week for 2 hrs each visit. The contract with SHS specifies that customers will be billed for a month of service in advance and any unused hours will be credited forward to the next month.
      In July, Mom's provider fell at her own home & was advised by her doctor to take it easy; that she was overdoing it. So the provider quit SHS. SHS contacted Mom to see if she wanted a new provider and Mom declined the offer, not wanting to start with someone new and while she liked the provider, she still wasn't keen on having help.
      Mom's invoice for July included 8 visits totaling $510. The provider only visited twice in July (7/11 & 7/13), worth $120. SHS owes Mom a refund of $390 which they have not paid.
      In July I texted Mom's caseworker & received no reply. In August I left a VM and sent an email to the owner of this SHS office and have not had a reply.
      I would like SHS to refund my mother the $390 she is due.

      Hi, Just wanted to let you know that complaint #******** that I filed has been resolved. Seniors Helping Seniors refunded the requested amount to my mother. Thank you for your help
