      Got quote for 16 k for insulation from standard insulation in October 2024 they were working with ******* *** construction and my contract stated spray foam all exterior walls and cathedral ceiling. Blown in attic space upon inspection realized there was only 9 inches of blown in instead of 14 inches by the quote.This was not done.the contract was revised by ******* *** *** and standard without my knowledge and now I have batt insulation in my garage walls R19 which is not per code and don’t have enough R value in some of my walls and ceiling.upon contacting standard insulation they advised me that ******* revised the contract without my knowledge or permission.I then asked for the revised invoice and they refused to give it to me.I do not feel this is right I believe they are trying to protect the contractor who shorted my insulation on my home to put extra money in his pocket.I am asking standard insulation for a copy of the revised contract and they are refusing to do so

      Standard provided a quote to and received a signed proposal/agreement from the builder involved with this project for spray foam in all walls and cathedral ceilings. It also included blown in insulation for flat attics. Upon arrival of install, the contractor informed us he would be insulating the common wall of the garage and home himself, the remaining garage walls and the flat attics, himself. We were asked to remove the cost from the proposal upon our invoicing. Our invoice to the contractor reflects the changes he requested and since the contract was with him, we did as requested. We will provide the invoice for services rendered to Mr. ******.

      In 2020, Standard was fantastic! New propane furnace and water heater! They were prompt, courteous and spot on. Their service has always been "spot on"!
      This month, I had an issue with the water heater. I called them 1/9/23 in the morning, they sent a service man that day. We needed a new gas valve. After a couple of days, I inquired as to when it would be repaired and they said the part was on order, they will contact me. 3 days later, I hadn't heard anything, so I called again. They said still waiting for the part. On Monday, 1/16/23 (a WEEK later) the manufacturer told them the part was back ordered. Wednesday, I looked online and found 7 of them available. Friday I called again, and they told me they had to go through the manufacturer and it's still not available. Monday, 1/23 (2 WEEKS) later, I was truly P***** OFF! They called me back that afternoon and miraculously, they had the part! It was installed the 24th. For 2 weeks, I had to pack up and go to my sisters to shower; TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE and INCONVIENT.
