    We have been contracted with this business since February 2022 and they have not completed the contracted work and have ignored us since approx. July 2022. They are contractually obligated to putting fire proof doors in our boiler room of our house and stated for months that it was back ordered. They then started ignoring us completely when wed ask for an update. Almost three months ago we started calling companies who make said doors and asked if there were supply chain issues like wed been told and they said no, that theyd be able to do our job. So we reached out to our contracted company with these details and the contact information if theyd like to work with them to complete the job and no response. Since then we have heard nothing. We ideally dont want to take this to small claims but they have not held their end of the contract and its unacceptable.

    We have been in contact with this client regarding a door that was back ordered unfortunately but was also a custom made door not a stock item. We had ordered it months ago from a particular vendor and every time we asked for an update it still was not in and we had let the customer know. They advised they found another company but we had already placed an existing order. We gave the customer a full refund of the installation cost and the for the door itself and canceled the order from our vendor that still did not come in. I spoke to the customer directly about sending the actual check to the jobsite listed on our contract.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and while I find that the resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved, their response to this complaint was inaccurate to what happened. We only found a new door company AFTER they contacted us about them refunding due to the lack of their contractual obligation.
