    On October 6th 2023 I went to tint world to have the back windshield tint removed on my car. My rear defrosters worked perfectly prior to going there and now they are not working properly. I contacted the business on October 18th and spoke to the manager who claims its not there issue. He informed me of a fine print portion that was never shown to me. The receipt that I have a copy of is only the portion of the credit card receipt that I paid and a **** gift card that I paid. My total for the tint removal was $******. When they showed me a breakdown of my receipt which I also never received, I realized they charged me ***** for the side panel to be removed which I was told would be included. Now my car defrosters dont work properly and I do not trust them to work on my car after this issue. I am hoping this will result with them paying for my defrosters to be fixed and a refund for the ******. Thank you for looking into and helping me with this issue.

    To whom it may concern,

      First and foremost, I'd like to apologize if your defroster isn't working correctly. When removing old film from a vehicle there is no guarantee your defroster lines wouldn't come apart. We have a conditions of tint installations sign that sits next to our install and removal board that explains the process. No shop would ever 100% guarantee a rear defroster removal. When vehicles have old film, the adhesive glue is hard to remove, hence why defroster lines start to come apart. We use the safest way to remove film by steaming it off. But again, there isn't a 100% guarantee it won't come apart. I hope this helps. We also charged $26.21 to remove film from the rear quarter window. We didn't remove any panels like she stated.
