    To say I am DISAPPOINTED, is an understatement. Between ************* 2024 we had HBS come out, complete an assessment for exactly what our home needed to fix water coming into our basement, and complete the installation. **** ********* recommended multiple products, and we trusted his opinion and suggestions, since he's the expert! We purchased EVERYTHING HE SAID TOO, including the best "Triple Safe System" that they make! These items were all installed on 4/18/2024. In June, we had our basement completely re-done, because everything was ruined from prior storms. On 8/19/24, we had a massive rainstorm. We trusted our $7k system would do its job. Well, it did NOT. Our entire basement flooded. Everything, completely ruined, once again! Water came in from the EXACT LOCATION where our pump was installed. I called HBS immediately, they sent out a technician, Christian, who CONFIRMED that one of the 2 pumps in our system, was NOT WORKING. I asked for HELP in fixing the resulting damage to our basement that was completely renovated in June, so they sent out 2 more employees (*** ****** and ***) to "assess" my basement again. After begging for my "report" to be sent to me, it finally was, in which I was informed that they were taking ZERO responsibility for the faulty pump that THEY sold us, installed and recommended to us back in April!! They are blaming me and my husband for the water coming in (because of the location of the discharge line outside & that grass grew over it. THEY installed the line, and they graded the area! No one else has EVER touched that area!!) Their REPORT contains nothing but LIES, and shows they take ZERO accountability when things go bad. Me and my husband have been treated like complete TRASH by this company. Never mind the despicable outcome of their report, NO ONE RETURNS CALLS when they say they will either - I am STILL waiting on a call from *** since 9/6/24. Absolutely horrendous experience, worst customer service EVER. SHAMEFUL.

    Ms. Devine,
    We are sorry that you are dissatisfied with our system and service.
    Unfortunately, you purchased a partial system that does not include our dry floor warranty, and our proposal clearly states this.
    Additionally, someone buried the end of your discharge line, which caused the system to back up and not function properly. We cannot be held responsible for damage caused by the buried discharge issue.
    Tim has reached out and we have not had a response back.
    We will reach out this week to follow up and discuss potential remedies.

    I'm writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service provided by Healthy Basement Systems. The entire experience has been frustrating and disappointing. During the sales process, I told ******, our sales **** that I wanted our crawlspace to look like the photos in the pamphlet he provided. He assured us it would, but the reality was far from it. The insulation in the crawlspace ceiling wasn't replaced as promised. When we asked the crew, they said it wasnt necessary because of SilverGlo. We assumed SilverGlo was part of a complete CleanSpace system, but our crawlspace was left with old, musty insulation.After inspecting the work, we found several issues: gaps in the SilverGlo insulation, incomplete encapsulation, and a lingering musty smell. This is not the healthy basement we were promised.The customer service has been equally disappointing. After discovering the issues, I had to reach out multiple times just to get a response. I was bounced around, given incorrect phone numbers, and ultimately it took eight days before anyone got back to me. Despite my repeated requests, the company has failed to provide a work order or an email confirming a date and time for them to return and fix the issues.The crawlspace is not properly encapsulated, and the basement still smells musty. Despite my efforts, no one from management has contacted us to resolve these issues.Ive stopped payment on the check, not to avoid paying, but because I need this job done right. After a month of attempting to reach out with little response, I expect someone from management to contact me immediately to arrange the necessary repairs. Ive sent pictures of the substandard work, and this needs to be resolved as soon as possible.This experience has been incredibly disappointing, especially given the awards and recognition that led us to choose Healthy Basement Systems. I hope this leads to a resolution and this review helps future customers.

    What a nightmare from start to finish. So my pros was. Shout to *** and the owner who tried to fix the mess that was created by their workers Now the cons which was everything else. The designer comes out ******* he sells you the dream system for your house. Lets you know everything can be done. **** set an appointment and I think its going be great. The day of appointment the workers come ohhh wait the system designed cant all be done because they never took into account clearance. So theres back and forth btw the ******* and designers they figure it out. Then an hour into work workers discover oh the room where they need to work has aspestos from the tile in there. Something that should have been told by the designer. So now have to stop work call an aspestos team in which cost over 2k to clean up. What they needed to be done. 130 sq ft. Set up another appointment date which is now 3 weeks later. And confirm with ***** that the Job will only take one day she says yes fine. The workers come back they say oh we need two more days. Which I have to take off work for. Workers start working and boom wait more aspestos which they never pointed out they needed removed so work stop again. Mind you its been raining cats and dogs in my basement without this system. So now come back the aspestos team which healthy basement paid for. Who had to come back in clean up more. Finally the day comes a Saturday their off day they complete the project . We go to pay. I tell **** the ******* I want to pay using my Amex card he inputs it get receipt. But to find out that they charged my wifes *********** card instead now she has the bill instead of me.

    We are sorry that you are disappointed with your experience with our company.Unfortunately, we cannot always identify hazardous materials such as asbestos until our installation crews arrive and start working. Once it was identified, our crew did what they are trained to do to protect the homeowner and themselves by notifying you of the problem. We rescheduled the work promptly after the problem was remediated. We made a mistake by not identifying all the areas impacted by the asbestos, resulting in a second delay because the remediation company had to return and complete their work (which we paid for). We also apologize for the confusion on which credit card was used to cover the balance of the work.When we identify hazardous materials in a home, we take it seriously, and get the homeowner involved in solving these issues as quickly as we can. When we make a mistake, we own up to it and make the appropriate considerations for our customers.We did this on your job.
