    Lenihan Paving replaced our driveway, charged us $8,000. Several months later the driveway started developing holes, breaks, and growing grass thru the pavement. Linehan replaced a part of the driveway, but did not fix the holes, and the grass is still growing thru. Now, when I call them they say that they can’t help me, and they hang up. They have been very ignorant and rude.

    BBB spoke with the business and the following was relayed: There is a one year guarantee on the job.  This driveway is 3 years old, out of the 1 year guarantee period.  And even though it's out of the guarantee period, I've tried to bend over backwards for him.  I went out there a couple times, after the 1 year guarantee was up.  He has some vegetation growing on the edges.  Vegetation, grass is not even covered within the 1 year guarantee because it is an act of nature.  If the edges were maintained, it wouldn't happen.  I feel we've gone above and beyond to try and help him.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The pictures were taken within less than a year after the work was performed. There were also holes in the driveway within the period that was less than a year after they performed the work. The holes are still there and they are becoming bigger and bigger. Now it is 3 years later, because they came ones to repair, but it was not successful. When I called again, Justin said that he was going to come again and look at it, but he was always too busy when I called. Then he would not answer the calls anymore. That is when I filed the complaint. This is absolutely unacceptable way to do the business. I would require Linehan to properly fix my driveway or to provide the refund payment. They charged $8,500 and the driveway was broken again within less than a year after they did the work. Attached are a few pictures of communication (from 2020) with Lenihan about the deterioration of the driveway, also showing the pictures of the driveway itself.
