Description Brief background information: Around July 27th, 2022 my Vehicle was dropped of to M SPEC PERFORMANCE SERVICE CENTER in Glendale Queens ** ( ******************** ).On August 1st, 2022 I received a phone call from the service center stating that my vehicle along with ***** others were stolen from the service center. The service center stated they are waiting for the police to file a report ( #************* ) the report was made through the 104th police station. On August 3rd, 2022 manager of shop gives us a call stating that my vehicle was recovered a few blocks down and requested if we had spare key to move the vehicle back to the service center. I inspected the vehicle, a no standing ticket for $115 I believe, because whoever returned the vehicle left it in that zone.By August 8th, 2022 all work was completed on vehicle for a total of $1223 ( estimate ) ( warranty does not cover completed work, we are told we have to pay out of pocket ).Around August 27th, 2022 I go to the service center to settle all debts and retrieve my vehicle. I ask ***** for the safety of myself and vehicle since the first key was never returned if he is replacing my key. ***** stated I pay out of pocket and get it reimbursed by his insurance or have my insurance go after his.To final conclusion : ***** has a claim on my vehicle for theft. My vehicle has been returned. ***** is waiting for insurance payout and wants to keep my vehicle until the insurance pays out so he can replace key. ( p.s I paid $967 for the original service and got my vehicle back 8/30/2022, Im still waiting to schedule an appointment to get the original key removed from my vehicle ) My insurance liberty mutual says it does not work like that vehicle was stolen in the possession of ****** SERVICE CENTER and that company will soley have to use their insurance, and not mine since my vehicle is now recovered and still in their hands.
