I have received multiple notices from MCU and Associates LLC, the latest dated January 17, 2025. They list a client account # of ********* and are attempting to collect a balance due of $241.89 for an unpaid subscription to the **************. I have never subscribed to The ************** nor ever received The **************. This is a scam and I expect them to delete the false account and the balance due. Thank you.

On 1/31/2024, I have received a ******* letter, dated 1/17/2024 from MCU and Associates, telling me that I have an overdue balance at the New *********** The letter claimed that I have a client account with the New ********** of *********. I have no such account. The amount due appears to represent a home delivery service, $80.92. I do not have and did not order home delivery from the New *********** I am not getting any New ********** newspapers delivered, though I have a digital-only subscription. New ********** web account status shows my digital subscription is fully paid. Specifically, when I contact the Times, they tell me I owe nothing. Six months ago, I cancelled a NYT All Access annual subscription, formerly billed through my iPhone account. This remains cancelled. MCU and Associates needs to stop collecting this false or erroneous debt.

    Hello,

We can confirm the account is cancelled, $80.92 balance removed and account pulled from collections.
