    On or about June 2023 my Central Air Conditioner stopped working. I contacted a neighbor for a reference for someone that can come take a look at my unit. I was given Mechanical Concepts *** ****** ***** phone number. I immediately contacted *** ***** **************/************ *** ***** returned my call I explained my issue regarding the ** unit, *** ***** advised me he is on a job however upon completion he will come to my residence.. At approximately 7PM EST *** ***** and another employee *****/**** (last Name Unknown arrived at my home. They quickly determined that I will need an entire new Air Conditioner Unit (exterior unit and interior unit) ducts were previously installed from old unit. I was contacted by *** ***** within 24-48hrs regarding my options type of unit dual heating and ** or just **. I chose dual unit. I was given an estimated cost of twenty thousand dollars we negotiated a price for nineteen thousand cash. 50% down payment upon ordering the unit remaining balance due upon installation The unit was installed within the next approximately 4-5 business days. Immediately after the unit was installed I was told by ****/***** to read the owners manual on how to operate the unit. The unit is heating and cooling the home, however the blower fan never turns off it is running 24/7. I notified *** ***** and ****/***** of the problem ****/***** did come to my home twice and told me the unit is fine its working as a dehumidifier as well in my attic. I have made several more calls and text messages group texts and individual text *** ***** did not respond to my last couple of calls and or text messages ****/***** will respond with a very brief call or text that he has emergency jobs and could not make it to my residence then I was told several weeks ago that he is waiting on Tech Services to contact him so they can walk him through how to rectify my problem all of the calls and texts was initiated a minimum of 6-8 months ago. Weekly calls/text July.

    We spoke to *** ******* ****** on a few occasions and even stop by his house to take a look at the unit we installed. We explained to *** ****** that the unit is design to run as a dehumidifier in the summer but in order to deactivate that setting, we had to get in contact with tech support and have them walk us threw the steps to remove that parameter. We tried getting in contact with tech support multiple times but had wait time of 2hours plus, from our understanding the unit is working fine, extremely quiet so we did not see this as an emergency. We did get in contact with *** ****** and schedule a service call for Friday October 11th where we will make the necessary adjustments/changes to his unit for his desired operation.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:


    It was not explained that its designed to run as a dehumidifier in the summer, however I was told it acts as a dehumidifier but not specifically the summer.  I then told them it runs continuously even when the heat is on a dehumidifier turns itself off automatically when its job is temporarily done, this NEVER turns off manually onlyand again I didnt pay ************************************************************************************************* 2024 not in 2023 when I initially contacted themI was told to read the manual and set it to auto.
