    I won an auction from Gunbroker. I originally sent email on 4/14 upon winning auction- no reply. ********* sent FFL info same day. I called following morning at 1045 only for them to inform me they misplaced my paperwork after being on hold for ***** minutes. I gave my phone number per their request, for a call back. Not hearing back, at 2pm, I call back to get voicemail and again at 5pm to make payment. I was charged a credit card fee that was not listed in auction and $250 for *** 2- day shipping. Research shows 2 day is ($25-90) and overnight prices are $100-180 for packages up to 30 lbs! I was then informed that my purchase wouldnt ship til following day, being it close to 5pm I understood because of timing but I was annoyed (if it was handled at 11am when I called, it could have been shipped same day, which most sellers do!) The following day (4/16), at 1pm I contacted seller again as there has yet to be a tracking number listed for item- No response again! 4/17 - I called (approximately 1130) for tracking info and the guy was busy so they once again took down my contact info and once the guy is done with customer, they will call me back with info. I got info via email around 5pm only to learn my order has yet to ship. On 4/18, the status changed on *** site reflecting that the carrier now has possession of my won item. I was charged for service that was not rendered and because I won the auction, I was forced to pay the price. By not paying I risked negative repercussions (I.e. bad ratings on the website) and reprisal like possible damage to my purchase prior to shipment. Gun broker item number: ********

    THE CUSTOMER WAS GIVEN THE OPTION TO CANCEL THE PURCHASE OF THE ***** HE WAS MADE AWARE THAT ALL FEES WILL BE DETERMINED BEFORE PAYMENT IS DUE AND HE DECIDED TO GO FOWARD WITH THE PURCHASE AND SUPPLY US WITH HIS CREDIT CARD. HE WOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN A NEGATIVE REVIEW OR HIS PURCHASE DAMAGED BECAUSE WE GAVE HIM THE OPTION BEFORE THE **** WAS PACKED AND HE ACCEPTED THE TRANSACTION. THIS SEEMS LIKE SOMEONE WHO HAS BUYERS REMORSE AND WANTS TO BLAME US FOR HIS MISTAKE.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

    Everyone who shops at ********* understands that if payment is not received sellers file a non paying buyer with ********* which can prohibit buyers from future business. Furthermore, customer is satisfied with the pistol, customer was significantly overcharged for shipping! Customer was charged $250 for two day shipping. Not only did it take this business two days to get item to carrier, it then took longer than two days to arrive to destination. Upon speaking to carrier, they even stated I was grossly overcharged for that shipping and was taken advantage of.
