We contracted this company to do a fashion show style aisle runner at our wedding hall venue. When me, my wife, and this business discuss, a 26" high aisle runner had never been done before at our wedding hall. After a lot of convincing and countless emails back and forth, we agreed to pay an extra grand for something to be built in order for the 26" aisle to come true. The total cost of this project was $6,699.99. We paid and a contract was struck. The agreement being that they would come set up the aisle the day before the wedding (so we can have a rehearsal) and that they would pick it up the night of the wedding after the ceremony. Two months ago, we were informed by our venue coordinator, ***, that another couple would be having a wedding the next day at their hall. We offered to struck a deal to pay half and half and we would both use the runner. They did not have the budget to pay that amount and hence, the contract stated that they would in no way have the same runner as us since clearly we paid a premium to have it delivered a built there. When we left our wedding hall 3.22.23 at 1 AM, we were assured that someone would be coming in the morning to pick it up and that it was too late in the night to pick it up then. Well... last night that couples wedding took place on that same 26" aisle that I rented out. It was a breach of contract and it was also immoral unethical business. I didn't pay a premium for extra building and a premium for delivery and labor for someone else to reap from what I sow. It was meant to be special for my wife. Both this company and the venue hall took a cut from the couple of the following night and struck a deal to use the vinyl and staging that I payed to get there. Since I already payed for it, the couple was not charged nearly as much as me.This is unacceptable. I have a video of my aisle being used 3.23.23 when it clearly states in my contract that it was supposed to be picked up the night prior 3.22.23.
