    Fall of 2020 Cornelius Paving installed a new driveway. Had an issue with a puddle right where I got out of the car. I called and asked if I had to live with that or could something be done. He came back and torched it so that it would run off the edge. That winter the driveway cracked in that area. Summer of 2021 he came back and cut our a 4x6 area and did a patch. That winter 2 of the 3 sides separated. June 28, 2022 he came back and put another layer over my original driveway just in front of the double garage. This new patch is a different grade of asphalt with bigger stones leaving holes in areas (not smooth blacktop) and it now makes about a 3 inch drop into the garage. I can't even get my fingers under the handle to pull the garage door up. I sent 4 texts and 1 call which I have not received anything. I would like a monetary refund so that I could get it repaired. I paid $5000 for a new driveway and has never looked like a nice new driveway. I had an estimate to correct the area by another company for $2000. My photos don't do it justice.

    we give a one yr guarantee with job we repaired tire depressions following year guarantee was expired last year she had tire depressions again this year warentee was expired however we still fixed it went over a section instead of small patches area comming out of garage is very small to turn out of leaving depressions from twisting wheels while still we honored guarantee one yr more than original contract cannot keep it going indefinitely proposal only obligated us to patch bad spot only can't keep going g back

    I am writing in response to Cornellius Paving’s comments on my complaint that I received on Sept 13th.  All he mentions is the guarantee/warrantee and not the root of the problem. I do believe I should be under the original guarantee/warrantee due to the fact that my original problem was never resolved. This all started with a crack (within a year) and then the patch repair on that crack that separated at the seams the following year. It was not tire depressions until he said that this year. My issue is with his repair this year, the quality of the job is substandard with both his materials and workmanship. I was told by other pavers that he apparently used a different grade of binder than my original job. This repair is not a smooth/solid surface like he did on my original driveway. It is also so high that I can not get my hand under the door handles. I also never received any communications from him when I tried to call/text several times to discuss this situation.
