    I had my daughter try Kumon for a free assement because she needed help with her multiplication. My daughter attended for about 1 month, once per week. We were given packets of math questions equating to kindergarten level (1+1). When I asked the owner how it was going and why she was being given simple addition after a few classes, she yelled at me in front of another parent in the waiting room, stating this is not a tutoring center. I told her that we wouldnt be coming back. We were given a small pencil case and paper with simple addition questions. I do not mind paying for the cost of the materials but there was NO service provided. Each week when I brought my daughter in and asked her how it went she told me that they never looked at her or asked her if she had any questions or needed help. She was simply given the same packets of simple addition, questions to complete and sat by herself at the end of the room. The only thing they ever said to her was that it was time to go. No services were provided outside of this. I never heard from them again until I checked my credit report and saw that I was put into collections.
