  You meet him once and that's it, you will never hear from him again....could not close on my home last week because of them. I spoke to the town this morning just to be told they have nothing in my file and am basically starting from the beginning.. DO NOT recommend him!

  ***** is by far the most unprofessional person Ive ever dealt with. Took $3500 from me for a garage on 3/11/24 and hasnt even applied for the permit. His excuse is hes waiting on drawings from me. Can never get a hold of him through call or text. Then when you do he tells you get off my back or ok *****. Also threatened me with a defamation suit for posting this review so that should say a lot about his character. Look elsewhere for help with permits. Check the BBB reviews for this place before making any deposit! If I get hit with a lawsuit, all the texts will go up to prove the type of person you are.

  Run, dont walk away from this guy ! Find someone else who is conscientious,concerned and dedicated to taking care of your permit issues better yet do it yourself its really not that tough or difficult. It is time consuming. Better than wasting your time and money with this guy . Consumer Affairs ************** , District Attorney **************, NYS Attorney General all said they could do nothing. Small Claims Court came through like a champ . RUN

  This is what the Permit Man wrote me in an email:Good early morning *******,I did not realize this 200 dollars meant so much to you that you are going to harass my office over it.We handle ***** permits a month with over 80 to ******* a month in revenue that runs through the municipalities and our accounts.Ill send you a check for 200 dollars, because clearly this is taking up way to much space in your head and is becoming a nuisance to me at this point.You proved you paid 200 dollars yes but on two separate days , that could mean you paid for two separate permits , or that you were told the permit was more than originally thought , thats what needed to be checked, my office has over a ***** files , people frantic about permits who are buying and selling their homes, have court dates , or are trying to get to escrow , many of which exceed 10s of thousands of dollars , so Im sorry I did not realize that this possible overpayment of 200 dollars (which would be the first) had such importance, so since it does Ill have my book keeper mail a check out with mondays mail with our bills for the week , if it was an overpayment , then youll have your refund if it was a payment for an additional permit or that the permit was 400 and not 200 then consider it a gift. Therefore at 4 am in the morning along with other times throughout the day you dont feel so compelled to fight for it, and leave messages like there is some reluctance to look into this matter as if we have been caught lol. You sent the money, there was no reluctance to look into it, but things have to be done in an order of request and importance , we cannot just drop other things to research your file, permits, submissions and town portal upon immediate request, esp for something so Manute in comparison to even your filings and others.Have a good day,Expect to see check we or Thursday I would imagine, I hope this puts this matter to rest.Best regards,TerryPermit man inc.

  On 8/24/22, I signed a contract with the Permit Man *********************************** owner) (a.k.a. Expediting Long Island) to expedite the deck permit services. I paid $2500.00 to ******************************* upfront and he also told me to pay for additional expenses totaling $5307.22.He filed the applications on 9/7/22 for the deck and A/C permits. After that he basically disappeared. He never followed through and completed the job. I called his various numbers left messages and sent him text messages but no answers. He later notified me that email only correspondence are accepted because he was too busy. Soon afterwards, he stopped responding to email messages as well. After waiting for more than 8 months and going nowhere, I sent him an email asking for final update. Again he did not respond to my request to give an update. Instead, he called out of the blue and asked for additional $2500.00 to file permit for the basement. This was the first phone call from him in 6 months. I finally gave up dealing with him asked for full refund. He obviously refused and I will be filing complaints to the Consumer affairs and the BBB. I will also be contacting my lawyer to find out what my options are. This is a nightmare from h*** ******************************* has no integrity and he is a scammer. Please do your due diligence and research thoroughly and dont be a victim..
