Beware!!! Very lengthy process from beginning to end. Too many changes with installation dates and employees who come to do the work. Lack of explanation on zoning depending on the size and floors of your property and left with additional cost due to their lack of information to the consumer.

Dandelion does one thing well - they have great marketing materials. Don't be fooled. After that it is all downhill. Their work at our home was a disaster. We ended up contracting with one of their competitors to finish the job. In the end it cost almost twice as much as their original estimate. Worst customer experience of my life.

Dandelion has a great Sales pitch but is terrible when it comes to their customer service. This is the only time I have ever written a negative review but I thought it was important to make sure less people get fleeced by this company. They will tell you there is no maintenance involved in the units except cleaning the "U' drain and changing the filters. So far two units have failed and they couldn't respond for three days. The cost was more than they had initially said in the contract by $8000.00. The company is in it for the initial sale and not the end goal of making families comfortable. Go with a heat pump from a local HVAC company instead. I dropped the Dandelion service because it was so bad, even though they said "it may be covered by warranty" and it was only one and half years old, otherwise we will charge you $300 just to come out to the house and tell you how much it will actually cost. I could've had my HVAC person just fix it for less than what it will cost them to come to the house.

Stay away from Dandelion. These people make a really great pitch but they are either overworked, or incompetent, either way, it isn't my problem. I am sitting here without heat last night it got into the single digits. Just some quick points so this doesn't seem like a rant:- They promised us 3-5 months. We are going on seven months. They still have to do HVAC and electrical.- They turned my lawn (not where they drilled) into a mud pit and have zero remorse.- They broke my sump pump pipe when trenching so my basement flooded and is still filled with mud.- We live in an antique house with a stone foundation. When they went through our foundation they may have disrupted the structural integrity of the stones. When I emailed them about this, they said they would address my concerns. They never did. Honestly, I am feeling like I was completely taken by the company. What is worse is that they seem to have zero respect for me as a person who purchased a very expensive system from them. I feel so disheartened.

I was under contract with Dandelion to install a 3-ton unit. Things started to go south as they planned my installation. The amount of loop length was too short. This is according to several other companies I had contacted... all licensed and certified to do that work. When I confronted Dandelion with this info, they denied it and said they knew best. Other companies said I would need a third hole to get adequate results. I even offered to pay for the third hole myself, above and beyond what Dandelion was charging. They refused, citing some bogus law in ************** about "loop lengths". It was bogus because there is no such law. After canceling the contract, I was harassed by e-mails and phone calls. I had to speak to a local VP out of *** to get it to stop. Surprisingly, I met that same VP at a show and she acted as if I was overreacting... even though she had copies of all the e-mails, one threatening to take legal action against me. These people live in a bubble. Do not do business with them. If I could leave no stars I would.

I was misled by ******************* who is one of the sales rep of Dandelion. He informed me that I should have a HVAC contractor install ductwork, since my home was previously heated using steam radiators before they can proceed. I email **** of the specifications of the ductwork, and he never responded to my email. He also flat left me, when I initially was running into difficulties with having an HVAC company to do the ductwork only. Once I had the ductwork installed, he then informed me of new increased installation lead times which increased to ***** months. He then never followed up with me. Two months later, I reached out to the main line to complain of **** lack of professionalism, and he quickly called, and told me that he was waiting on a design process, to give me a scope of ductwork, and when I told him that I installed the ductwork as he told me to do so, he acted as if he was unaware of the notification that he responded to of me telling him that the ductwork was pending installation. ******************* has now left me with no heating unit come this winter, and then he encouraged me to go with another heating source.
