      I am a one physician office in *******. A handsome young rep from Unitex arrived in my office September 2023 and agreed to beat all prices in delivering patient gowns and labcoat laundry services. I made it cleat that we are a small operation and do not need more that a monthly pickup or pick up on call. He was agreeable to the above terms and all was well until the bills start arriving and I start getting charged a $50 weekly service charge. Clearly, this was never a part of the discussion and comes as total surprise.Since then, I have made monthly phone calls to cancel my account but only received excuses that 'someone' from accounts will call back. I have now started receiving late charges. I called today and insisted that I speak to someone with authority. Finally, I was transferred to a *************************** who claims to be a loyal employee with 33 years of service but he is unable to help as he needs to review the contract. I demanded that he turn on his computer and look at the contract just I was. His answer: They don't use computers and contracts are filed away. The last time I checked, Unitex had annual revenues of $300 million. The gentleman is clearly lying and dishonesty seems to be a part of their business model. I would advise customers to be aware and would like BBB to assist me in cancelling my contract.
