      Synergy Fitness Club on *********************************** When opening the new facility on that Address, I sign up, providing my info and c/c (April/22)I was assured, that no charge will be done without signing the Contract- $39.99/month and I will be contacted prior the Opening. Plus I could keep my account on hold up to 6 month. It works for me!Nothing happened! In July I noticed charge in my cc statement of $39.99+$39.99 without being notified and signing the Contract!I went to the Gym to discuss that matter and was told those two charges are for the 1st month and the last month in the case of stopping membership...I asked manager (******) to reverse it, was told he will take care of it... but nothing was done.Also I asked to put my account on hold till December, which was done by desk manager (I believe her name is *****).August 3rd I noticed a new charge from Synergy Fitness of $39.99!I called to the Gym again... talking to *****... and according to him- my Account wasn't place on HOLD in July!!!Despite ***** assured me it's on HOLD!He corrects HOLD back from July ( I hope, but not sure...) and I asked to reverse the charge of $39.99.He said he will take care of it and if no refund issued in **** days to reach the Gym back.Refund is not issues and I called to the facility 08/10/22 and was redirected to ******- gym Manager.The problem- the facility can't refund/reverse payments; he offered me a credit $39.99 for a future payments.I refused... want to get my refund- not trusting Synergy with handling business (my info I provided was every time somehow incorrect, but c/c info miraculously stored correctly) .So, I insisted to ******, that I want the refund... if they don't have a system to refund Members, I asked for the contact info of his superiors.The only what he could give to me- was the ** Box of the Company! I have to write a letter/send it by Certified Mail!!! To their ********************* , he doesn't have an access to..

      I joined the gym before it opened. I was told the gym would open in June and there would be a full schedule of classes offered. I previously belonged to ************ at the same location for several decades and was anxious to work out at the upgraded venue. The gym finally opened, well after the advertised date, before it was fully operational. There were supposed to be fitness and cycling classes, as well as a hydromassage beds, at no extra cost. I visited the front desk numerous times and was told that the classes were starting any day and that there would be an extra cost for the hydromassage beds, which were another level of membership. However, I was told they were included and never informed of different membership levels, which are not advertised on the site. My credit card was charged for two months. I objected to being charged before the gym was offering all promised services, as I joined specifically for the classes. The class schedule was finally posted weeks after I was charged and the schedule was extremely limited and did not include cycling classes. I was told that I only had to give verbal notice and the Managers would help me cancel. ******, one of the Managers, told me he cancelled my membership and would send e-mail confirmation, which I never received. I also spoke with ******* and several other employees. In the meantime, attempts were being made to charge my card. I was told my membership was on hold, which I had been told at first, but that the hold charge would be waived. I also showed up with a doctor's ****** and a prescription for an MRI and told them I wasn't ready to work out and just wanted to cancel. I've been given the runaround for weeks and I don't appreciate being lied to. I've been a member of numerous gyms in *** and NEVER had a problem cancelling. I should have known better than to give my credit card into in the first place. I tried to resolve the issue and have visited the gym about a dozen times already. Thank you.

      The gym had grand opening July 1, 2022. I signed up early in May and was promised great benefits and waive of registration fee as an early registrant. July 4, 2022 i got charged triple (!) of monthly fee of $44.99 and additional $115 for unknown reason. as soon as I saw the charge I called and then went to the gym numerous times trying to resolve the issue. Last time I spoke to ****** the manager last Friday July 29, 2022 and he'd promised me to process the refund. Today I find out the gym charged me another $44.99. I was overcharged as of today total $204.98. In addition there is no customer service number, the staff refuse to provide phone number of the billing department and there is only one way to talk to them as to come in to the gym.

      Synergy Fitness has been charging my account after a letter was sent out to them cancelling the membership before the 30 days window according to their policy.They did received the letter and we never got an email, phone call or any other type of feedback from them about the letter needed to be certified, this was not explained to me, I took the time to write the letter and wouldve sent certified if that was brought to my attention.According to the location manager, the letter had to be certified because they need to make sure it is me, even when I am actually on the phone with them.We tried contacting the location to speak to the Manager but after numerous calls and messages left, he never returned the call.
