This is the most awfully run car mechanic that I have ever dealt with. -rob the manager is the absolute most rude person I’ve experienced as well. In November 2022 I had my drivers side wheel bearing replaced by jiffy lube. 3 months later I hear the same noise so of course since it’s under warranty I bring it to them to check it out. Rob the “manager” tells me after he looks at it that it is my front differential that is bad. Front differential?! Oh but they don’t fix them there. Naturally I was distraught because that is very very expensive. I decide to bring my car to the dealership to have it checked out,as jiffy lube can’t fix it anyway. So the dealership tells me it’s the drivers side wheel bearing-front differential is fine and so is everything else, except for the alignment (from the bad wheel bearing-an alignment which I also had to have done 3 months ago) and the wearing of my front tires (also because of a bad wheel bearing). So of course the dealership tells me to have the place that just replaced the wheel bearing to look at it. I call jiffy lube they say “yep bring it in on Wednesday we’ll take a look”. Side note I work night shift so I’m not a morning person-I woke up at 7am and rearranged my whole schedule to be there Wednesday. I show up and rob tells me they aren’t able to do any warranty work on Wednesdays because that’s the guys day off. Of course I’m livid. So I decide to go back the very next day. I show up and rob says “oh yeah it’s your differential that’s all that’s wrong with it” I say no the dealership told me it’s the wheel bearing you already replaced. So he proceeds to scream and argue with me in a very condescending tone and say I’m wrong and the dealership is wrong. He brings my car in and calls me and says that it’s now the rear wheel bearing that’s the problem. I said leave my car outside I’m done with you people. So then I had to bring it back to Steet to spend $1175 on a job that should have been FREE to replace. Awful business
