    On May 19th, 2025, my father suffered a stroke that resulted in a brain aneurysm. He spent a month and a few days in the hospital. During that time, my brothers and I managed his financial responsibilities by ensuring his Nexscard debit card account shield was turned off and then back on after each bill payment. Unfortunately, when my father was discharged from the hospital, my brother and I encountered a sign-in issue with the Nexscard app, which caused his account to be locked. After filling out the form to reset the password with his correct information, Nexscard failed to send the temporary password and reset instructions to the email on file. I decided to call customer service to explain my father's situation and health issues resulting from the stroke, hoping to resolve the problem. However, during that call, I encountered a rude customer service agent/ supervisor who insisted on speaking with my father, even though his memory had declined significantly due to the stroke.ilDuring the call, my father had trouble understanding the questions being asked. Unfortunately, the customer service representative or supervisor unprofessionally hung up on him and marked his debit card status as invalid. Since that incident, none of my father's bills can be paid this month. I also reached out to customer service today, but they did not answer my calls, even after I obtained a power of attorney document to prove my legal authority over my father's finances. This entire experience has added significant stress during an already emotional period in my life. After I transfer the remaining funds out of my father's account, I will be closing his Nexscard account for good. This situation could have been avoided if the company had taken accountability for its buggy app and provided proper email responses, especially regarding password reset emails sent to the account holder's email address.s to the account holder email.

    A customer service representative has spoken to the complainant regarding her father's account.  She has been advised the document needed to assist on the account and agreed to send the requested document.  We consider this complaint closed.

    ***** in fees in 6 wk period. I know I signed up for it but when you look at my statement I started with *******, I had ******* in purchases and *****in fees. Now unless we have started a new math system that equals *******. RIGHT? They are telling me my balance is 48 cents. No one can tell me where is the other almost ****** that's missing. They are nothing but thieves.i have made a claim to Consumer Financial ***************** and maybe everyone else needs to. Just as I was sitting here 2 more declined fees for 50 cents each came through. I haven't used the card since April! These people are laughing all the way to the *****

    We acknowledge receipt of the complaint from the cardholder. Customer Support has made several attempts to contact the cardholder to address and resolve any concerns she may have. This includes phone calls, voicemails, text messages and replies to emails received from the cardholder. We consider this matter closed.

    I have my lock on majority all the time because I know that I have bills coming for my money so I thought that putting on the lock your money will be safe thats not the case when your lock is on they still charge you for each attempt to collect Money from you, ************* to an dollar imagine an trying to charge your car and they tried attempting 6 to 10 times I feel like they are robbing us, and when I brought this matter to their attention, they did not show no remorse all I know is Im on a fixed income. I have no time for mistakes like this. I come up short every month because of them.

    No accountability from this bank statements show duplicate charges numerous fees. Monthly fees charged earlier then one month. When I contact customer service the staff is always RUDE and they never seem to show amounts you can see on the app, website, statements, transaction history then what I can see.Then it's always the customers fault and they analyze how money is spent and they question how my money is spent. BEWARE I WAS GIVEN THIS COMPANY INFORMATION THAT WAS FORWARDED TO ME BY SOCIAL SECUIRTY ***** BUT I BELIEVE ITS A SCAM

    Here's a little change to the second to last sentence We have reviewed the cardholders account in reference to this complaint. The customer acknowledged the ******************* including our fees, prior to opening the account. The customer chose an account with a monthly fee which has been charged once each month. We have provided monthly statements to the cardholder along with guidance on using our mobile application to review all account activity. Customer satisfaction is our extremely important to us and we regret that **************** wasn't satisfied with her customer service experience, but we believe we have resolved her concerns through subsequent calls with her. We consider this complaint resolved and closed.

    These people charge you a dollar for every time you use the card. They say its prepaid but its actually a savings account and they are giving you a loan . Insane they way they word it. I get disability benefits and live on a fixed income. This service and these people are doing everything they can to keep ** in a state of poverty. Thats the only reason they exist is money and greed. To make matters worse when I disputed a charge they closed my account. What a joke

    We have reviewed the account referenced in this complaint and the issues raised therein. The customer acknowledged the terms and conditions which our fees are listed prior to opening the account and also received a copy with her debit card. We have discussed the transactions with customer and are in receipt of the customers transaction dispute and an investigation is being performed. We refer the customer to the dispute process where customer updates will be provided. The customers account was closed due to her account being compromised. We consider this complaint closed.
