    Run poorly. Very disorganized. The company charges automatically for months that do not have lessons booked or when the lessons have been discontinued. It seems like their company policy is to not issue any refunds ever. Once your card is charged, they take your money, even if sessions have been cancelled. Make up sessions expire quickly and can only be booked in a short time span. Getting a hold of someone at the location is impossible unless you're physically there. They do not understand childhood development and gentle separation. Most management and instructors are in their teens. They must not be paid well because staff don't stay long.

    I dont usually leave reviews but I just had to say something as I feel this is concerning. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I am appalled at the negligence of the management at this facility. Theres a plethora of things Im unsatisfied with. To name a few the cleanliness of the facility (which should be reported to the *******************************), the attitude of staff members and the unenthusiastic teaching. However, this is NOTHING compared to the information I had just become enlightened to. I have a family friend whos son swims here and she referred me to this place and I was planning on signing my 5 year old daughter up for lessons. She told me a few of the instructors names who her child has swam with so I decided to look up the names of these individuals to see how much experience they had in the field. One of the employees who works at the Saf-T-Swim in New Hyde has a CRIMINAL RECORD and he is currently employed there working with children. This is unacceptable as I'm certain that background checks need to be made on every employee, especially if they are mainly working with young children. I dont believe management has made any of the customers aware of this information. I nor any other parent would NOT feel comfortable leaving my child alone with an instructor who has violent tendencies and a criminal past. It was so easy to discover this as all it took was one ****** search so that is telling of the lack of care by management. This place should be shut down or at the very least serious changes need to be made, I will make sure to let anyone know not to swim at this location.
