Event: June 25,2022, Amount: $280 pp I am usually a very quiet person with a patience of a saint, regrettably this time I need to be loud especially when I had to make so many sacrifices, countless hours of planning and work to give my daughter a perfect wedding instead it tuned out to be a nightmare and numerous complaints from my guests. The problem started as soon we arrived at the venue, the manager informed us that the ** was not working and few technicians were on the roof trying to fix it, it turned out that the technician was one of their employees spraying water on the unit with a hose. The corridor leading to the cocktail hour was a blasting sauna (88 degrees on 6/25), imagine having close to 250 people going thru at the same time, I was mortified to greet my guests with their faces dripping in sweat, at the same time what was going through my mind, is the food going to be spoiled in this heat, are people going to get sick with the raw seafood, how can they enjoy it in this heat; the one day my wife and I wanted for my daughter to be perfect was turning into a horrible dream. The same problem continued in the main ballroom, the perfectly decorated room was destroyed by these eye sore portable ** units, not enough for a room that size. What I found very embarrassing was having my guest complaining that some servers were quite sweaty serving them, no fault of their own. Some guests informed me that they had experienced the same situation attending other events at the Surf Club.Very upsetting and humiliating listening to my guests complaining rather than congratulating.Surf Club is a magnificent place, great location and a dream venue if the owners and managers would take pride in satisfying their costumers for what they pay for instead of delivering empty promises and overselling their ability to please their costumers who have put their trust in their hands.

    Better Business Bureau:

At this time, I have not been contacted by Camelot Caterers Inc. regarding complaint ID ********.

I am not surprised, they should not be in business, they know very well how to take advantage of their costumers, in fact I heard few other people having the same problem this summer, incredibly disgusting.

    Sincerely,
