    June 19th > Placed perfume order with ************** in the amount of $59.99 + Free Shipping July 22nd > Sent email that I had not received order and wanted to know status July 24th > Received email stating to get tracking info from my account July 26th > Sent email that tracking info indicated that item had been returned to sender but NO delivery attempts where made and NO notifications of attempts to deliver were left despite two people being at the home on the alleged delivery attempt date. I also asked if PerfumeBFF could please reship my order that was paid for. August 25th > Sent another email asking for a response to my July 26th email. Asked again if they could please reship order or to please refund the $59.99 I paid.August 26th > Received email stating two options, #1 - I could pay $15.00 for a reship of the order I never received, or #2 - the item can be refunded according to their return policy.August 26th > Sent email stating that the failure of their choice of shipping method was not the responsibility of the consumer and that I would like the $59.99 fund.Sept. 19th > Sent email asking about the status of requested refund.Sept. 19th > Received auto-response email saying they will respond within 48 hours.Sept. 24th > Sent email stating it had been @120 hours and that I was going to file a complaint with the BBB.Sept. 24th > Received email stating order had been refunded and should show up within 48 hours.Oct. 2nd > ************ account and saw that $45.00 had been refunded and NOT the $59.99 I paid.Oct. 2nd > Sent email that I had received a partial refund. >> The perfume on the ************** website was in the amount of $59.99 + Free Shipping >> I believe the partial refund was for the item minus what it costs them to ship it. HOWEVER, the item itself (and many others) indicates a price of $59.99 + Free Shipping on the website.     I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

     

     As I suspected would happen, they did not refund the remainder of the amount I paid for the item after BBB contacted them.

     

    >  Cost of the actual perfume on the ************** website = $59.99 + Free Shipping (item was never received)

    > Amount of refund 6 weeks after initial inquiry = $45.00

    > Amount of remainder of refund after making complaint with BBB = $0.00

     

    >>> ************** never refunded the remaining $14.99 that they indicated to BBB they had by replying to the BBB, "Refunded".  This is how they operate hoping that the consumer will give up and go away.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

    Although the business in question, **************, replied to my initial complaint AND my rejection to their response as "Refunded", ************** has NOT REFUNDED even a single ***** of the $14.99 that they still owe me for an in full refund for the product that I never received.  They are lying to the Better Business Bureau.  I have only recieved $45.00 out of the $59.99 that I paid ************** prior to my complaint through the BBB. Again, they HAVE NOT refunded the remainder of the amount as they indicated that they did (two times) to the BBB. They are lying again and based on the reviews on other websites of this business (i.e. Trust Pilot, et al.), this is the kind of thing they do quite often. According to other consumers, another tactic they use quite often is to simply not ever respond to their customers inquiries.
