I called the toll free number provided on this website - ***********. I was looking for the address of a specific meeting and asked if they could help me locate it. Let's just say, they were not very hospitable and became frustrated, impatient, condescending and rude. I bailed quickly and went directly to an intergroup office for the info. Meanwhile, I accidentally (unknowingly) called that same call center again and told them I was pursuing the information elsewhere. I received three follow up calls BACK from that center, berating me. I even received a text from one of the boys I spoke with there from this line: ************, with the following statement: "Why are you **** ** ***** ****?" (this will be archived for evidence). The other numbers that called me were: **************************, ***********. Is this really how you train people to handle fellow alcoholics???? I would NEVER send someone to that call center for help.
